Let's take a look at the version Chandoo played.

PS4 Pro slows down to 25-28fps on LOWLY-MEDIUM settings :laugh1:

Base PS4 to Allah ke hawaale...

22fps? What is this unacceptable shit :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1:

But don't fret Chandoo, that 970 performance bodes well for you :laugh1: :laugh1:

Let's take at the version Necro is defending.

1050 Ti paired with 8th Gen i5. Spec wise more than twice the power of a base PS4.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y63_XAB_HRw
1080p + medium settings and drops to 25 FPS in the opening barren world areas :laugh1:

And this is the version chandoo played.

Look at that perfect performance. This makes the 1050 Ti look like an obsolete GPU :laugh1:

All medium setting is still higher than base PS4 equivalents according to the post that bodes well for you :laugh1:

And even if you lock Pro to 1080p, the settings are all still LOWLY-MEDIUM :laugh1:

Agree to disagree. Clearly that user who made the comment was on some good shit :laugh1:

1050 Ti All Mediums

PS4

PS4 has
- higher resolution ground texture
- higher quality foliage
- the tree texture is a generational leap
- more geometry/detail on all the shacks.

Ab Chandoo ne apna Foundry khol lia hai analysing youtube snaps for graphics

This is closer to base PS4/Pro settings, and some settings like Lighting quality are still higher.

The game never dips below 44fps.

GTX 1050 Ti outperforms Pro, based on the "bodes well for me" equivalents

Both PS4 and PC are 1080p youtube snaps, as fair as we're gonna get. Ap goal post shift karte jaa rahe ho mai kia karu :laugh1:

And your latest video with 8th gen i5 and 1050 Ti is again showing sparse/empty things.

Meanwhile this also happens on an 8th gen i5 and 1050 Ti with the medium preset during some lightweight combat with visuals that look worse than PS4 :laugh1:

Let's revisit Chandoo's claim...

Still doesn't change the fact that a 1050Ti, which is much more powerful than a base PS4, can't render the same visuals at a stable 1080p 30 FPS :laugh1:
Base PS4 gai doodh lene, here we see GTX 1050 Ti outperforms Pro, based on the "bodes well for me" equivalents

Let's revisit Necro's selective quoting abilities ...

Most benchmarks are from the prologue and/or barren areas.

The Era poster is talking about benching in Saint Denis.

1050 gai doodh lene, his own quoted stream has the author saying he needed to drop to 900p to get 30 FPS in St. Denis

2:50:59 mark.

"1050Ti needs 900p at low to reach 30 frames per second"

Let's revisit the claims posted by Chandoo the very first time before he started goal post shifting..

Other people are posting how they're getting a game which looks and runs much worse on a 1050Ti than even a base PS4 (Keep in mind a 1050Ti is a far better GPU than the base PS4 GPU).
But here we can see that it performs and looks better than the Pro version even :laugh1:

GTX 1050 Ti outperforming Pro on Chandoo certified "bodes well for me" equivalents (with Lighting quality pushed above actually)

PC High also has worse pop in than PS4 Pro

Magically popping in NPCs at the 2 min mark :laugh1:

And still no St. Denis performance metrics for 1050 Ti Medium

"1050Ti needs 900p at low to reach 30 frames per second"

The real question is, aren't you loving that you were proven wrong?

While I would love to be proven wrong, facts are presented as we know them right now (y)

Meanwhile outside of Necro's bubble:

https://www.polygon.com/2019/11/7/20952369/red-dead-redemption-2-rdr2-pc-gameplay-freeze-crash

But I’ve been dealing with a much worse problem: an inexplicable stuttering issue that threatens to make the game unplayable.
Every couple of minutes or so — and sometimes more often than that — the action freezes entirely, for multiple seconds
And it has also happened when there’s no “action” at all: I once saw the game freeze when I was just sitting in front of a fireplace.

Looks worse than PS4 on Balanced, needs to be dropped to Low and 900p to reach 30 FPS in St Denis and has 5~8 second long freezes in the middle of game play.

And yet Necro is still defending a version of a game he has said he will not even play :laugh1:

I just posted a video proving you wrong. Again. But I can understand why you're afraid to watch it

Ab mazang chungi ho ya St. Denis, we can clearly see GTX 1050 Ti outperforming the PS4 Pro :laugh1:

Comparing a version with a hard 30 FPS cap with one with unlocked frame rate in barren areas .. i wonder which one will show higher frame rate :laugh1::laugh1::laugh1:

Just to recap:

Balanced preset has multiple visual elements which look worse than PS4.
Performance still drops to mid 20's in combat in the opening areas on an 8th gen i5 with 1050 Ti.
Additionally there are multiple stutters and outright pauses for a few seconds during normal gameplay.
Resolution needs to be dropped to 900p and preset to Low to even hit 30 FPS in the St. Denis town.

:laugh1:

yes its a known issue with i5 CPUs. Oh shit, this does NOT bode well for you

Nor does it bode well for a big majority of PC gamers expecting a comparable/better version than the consoles

Lekin Necro ne phir bhi defend karna hai

GTX 1050 Ti outperforms PS4 Pro on equivalent settings posted by Chandoo with room to turn some settings up higher :laugh1:

Ye big majority stats pata nahi kahan se nikaala hai aap ne ab, probably the same imaginary place where GTX 1050 Ti cannot run better than base PS4 :laugh1:

Dips in mid 20's during combat and required lowering of resolution for stress areas

vs

perfect 30 FPS
