The exchange is indeed far away (These fucks still don't have FTTC or FTTP SMH) so on a good line with 10mb, I'd get around 35db attenuation and around 8-12db SNR downstream. Which is stable and does work. Worked for me for a month before my I started getting disconnections as the rains came, My friend, however, did not since his "dabbi" is different from mine and it got changed a few months ago. We both live on the same street btw. He hasn't had a problem since he got 10mb apart from the lower SNR the past few weeks but that was fixed a couple of days ago. Generally stable 10mb. My story is different though... The lineman told me my line up until the pole is perfectly fine soo... I'm stuck.Attenuation is off the charts. Is a rat chewing on your phone line or are you 200 kilometers away from the DP?
