How to stop a girl from smoking?

I have a friend who has been smoking since 7-8 months.

She smokes 4-5 a day. That's what she told me. Might be 6-7 a day as well. Recently I have been hanging out with her like all the time. Last week she had 2 in front of me and said they were the only ones she smoked for the whole day. Then she said that she won't smoke and promised me and stuff. The next day she asked me for a cigarette again. (I don't smoke btw). I brought her one and I didn't talk to her the whole way while she drove because I was pissed off. The next day same thing happened again and she said that I will reduce it. I can't cut them off at once. Then next day she asked me for cigarette. I went and brought the whole pack for her. I scold her and on our way back, she threw the pack out and said she won't smoke ever again.

Now I don't know if she's smoking or not but what if she asks for cigarette again? How do I detect if she is smoking or not? How do I stop her from smoking?

He says he doesn't smoke and wants his friend to stop, he's probably anti smoking.

@OP ........ you can't force her to stop, all you can do is warn her about the bad effects, if she doesn't want to stop she won't. nothing you can do about it.

the problem lies in where u get the packs for her, stop getting packs for her and it might reduce what she's smoking etc.. why do u even get her packs in the first place.

I brought her that pack for the first time and I was so pissed off at her that she threw it, without taking a single cigarette from it

She's not JUST OP's friend, he actually loves her. Now you have two choices, either let her be or you can tell her that you will stop loving her if she doesn't quit. I'm pretty sure she will choose "sutta" over you.

You can't find out if she still smokes or not.

Just get her chocolate. Lots and lots of it. Its a pretty good alternative to smoking, especially for women.

buy her pack of sugar free gum every time she has urge of smoking tell her to take them . I stopped smoking in 12 grade , i started at 10 th grade as occasional thing but it got into me and became a habit , i started eating gum sugar free gum and did some passive smoking , used to go to snooker club do some passive smoking yeah i know its hard thing doing second hand smoke for a girl but sugar free gum does help .

Its like engaging ur self into some other habit when u feel the urge to smoke , sugar free gums also reduce stress and cool u down also never buy ciggs again for her its like encouraging her that some one will buy for her if she asks some one , and show her some of those cancer videos on the internet as a result of smoking and those premature birth due to smoking and being pregnant , scaring away stuff also works .

Majority of people have quit smoking through naswar or tara

results were good it was easy for me to quit
