Well, I bought a used one and it was fine. Only sold it because the battery was shit.

moto voice is working fine on my droid maxx , its just google now with some bells and whistles....
I meant the Google now cards. It's happening on my iPhone, my android phone and my friends phone too.

But after it completed optimising apps (on first boot) it just showed a black screen. Hard restarted the phone and same, after motorola logo/boot animation, black screen. Any ideas? and how to get the phone back to working condition? Thanks
Did you try to reset it from fastboot? If not, force the phone to boot into fastboot, clear cache and then restore to factory defaults, it'll hopefully fix your phone.
Yeah reset via fastboot, working fine now. Phone isn't not as slick as it was on 4.4.4 though

I pretty much predicted this, it's iPhone 4S on 8.1 all over again. The Adreno 305 and 1GB RAM is too low to handle those transitions.

Anybody using the 5.0.2 update on the XT1033?
I want to flash it but I haven't found the Asia Retail Lollipop build. To get Lollipop on the XT1033, you have to convert to Brazilian 4.4.4 and then update.
Any one have Asia Retail? If so, please let me know.

here you go....
if you're rooted paste this zip file in the root/cache/ folder and then go to settings and click system update... if you aren't rooted then just install it through recovery... you'll need stock recovery... cwm and twrp won't work(atleast didn't for me).... and enjoy...
root is also available already but xposed won't work.... just thought you would like to know....
also if you made changes to the system/build.prop file it won't work either... so remember to switch back to default build.prop before updating

Press and hold on the connected Wifi network and press Modify network settings. Tick the advanced option and change IP from DHCP to Static.
Don't touch anything else, just change:
DNS 1: 8.8.8.8
DNS 2: 8.8.4.4
Press save.
Clear cache.
Reboot.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
