what are the best & newest (highest specs) android phones available other than note 4? secondly will note 4 (SM-N910H - Exynos chipset) support 4G/LTE out of the box? if no then how do I get it working?

So just got Moto G 2nd Gen for dad, its the Global GSM version sold by Amazon. The phone itself is running great, I mean I am impressed by what I got for just ~17k.
One quick question, the phone is running on 4.4.4 KitKat and I believe Lollipop 5.0/5.0.1 is out for Moto G 2nd gen but I am not getting any OTA update to upgrade to that. If anyone knows of a guide/tutorial/thread which has a link to the OTA file from 4.4.4 to 5.0, please share. Thanks

Hey congrats on getting the phone. As for the L: Install Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Zip on Moto G 2014 XT1063 & XT1064 (XDA link). Below phones are under 5.5-inch mark:
- Meizu MX4 (5.3") - incredible value, has fastest Mediatek processor that's also 4G LTE compliant. Got the Sony Exmor IMX220 sensor.
- Vivo Xshot (5.2") - fantastic camera, large F1.8 Aperture with Optical Image Stabilization with dual tone flash.
These are the phones I can think off besides most known ones like the Galaxy Note 4 and Google Nexus 6. There's also another phone that's a powerhouse and build like a tank namely DROID Turbo but it's Verizon exclusive right now.

Got it, thanks. Download and place OTA.zip in mobile storage and then load into recovery to flash the OTA correct? That's what I do on my N5, is it like that in this case as well?

Though, I no longer have this device with me (upgraded to much, much better one) but that was the case when I updated my friend's device from 4.3 to 4.4. Just to confirm, your device is still bootloader locked and unrooted right?

Well this blows -_- Motorola is shipping the current lot of Moto G 2014's with a new version of KitKat (21.11.23) and they haven't rolled out lollipop for this build yet while the older builds i.e. 21.11.17 have gotten the update. Can't upgrade to 5.0 because it looks for 21.11.17's signature but finds the newer build instead and aborts the upgrade. Can't downgrade to the older version as well lol
If you unlock the bootloader, you can flash the 21.11.17 build and then upgrade:

I sold my Nexus 5 a few days ago for 26k.
Z1 (used) was 28-30k
Z2 (used) is 37-40k
I got mine for 39 or 40. Practically brand new. I'm loving it.
Not sure about Z3.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
