I was just wondering though. Why do people hate ISI. I mean, even if ISI or any of its spokesperson is backing him, whats the big deal? Because last i checked, ISI is there for Pakistan's defense. Why some of us tag ISI as they are our enemies? (Too much Indian media BS i reckon).
Bhai sb. ISI is part of Pakistan Army and Army should remain apolitical in a Democracy.

Resignation of NS and SS is just the start , if IK get in power and as he promise to change this system , is mean to change the corrupt people with non-corrupt , which is not gonna possible , as there are million of govt employees whom not eligible for there job , but they are there and they are the tools of corruption and if he farigh them from there jobs they do long march against him and this will drown his govt (just a possibility , but the fact is there , that this may happen). Plus our society completely loss its ethics and values , as this is not the 14th aug i remember at my childhood , at that time people even don't know the name of these political parties but they know that what is 14th aug , now people know what is politics , but know one knows what is patriotism . Well there is much , much and much to do and it will not gonna possible "just like that" it will gonna take YEARS and YEARS .

ISI is viewed with suspicion even among Army circles. The only time both have a healthy working relationship is during times of Military Dictatorship. It's bit of a rogue organization.

Also, Army, they're pretty far back in the red zone. Its police, followed by FC, rangers and then Army.
Article 245. Military is in direct control of Islamabad's security. So it shouldn't be too much of a problem ordering Police, FC and Rangers to stand down.

I know, I am just saying that the front line is by the above mentioned and last is Army. Around 350 army troops are deployed in red zone if I remember correctly.

Why would a military outfit be backing or interacting with a political party?

And you call the paki awaam stupid? It is for this reason that Pakistan has spent a good part of its 'independence' under martial law, where the army feels its their innate responsibility to 'save' the people from their elected officials. We saw how great and powerful our Army is in the Kargil conflict :tv:

If Imran Khan succeeds in the coming few days, its not because of the MILLIONS (lulz) of people he's gathered but because of the Army/ISI's backing. A country where the army holds sway over politics and dictates the democratic processes is a country that will never succeed, and history has proven that multiple times.

I'm not defending the N league or any political party, but anyone who wants to topple an elected government with the help of the army is bad for the future of Pakistan.

I believe people who are saying army has a backhand on Ik are wrong because if that is the case then i am sure IK would not have said anything about army and generals in his speeches..!!

One of the good decisions, he has made in a few days. Resigning from assemblies shows the surety of his stance. PMLN would never take such an extreme step unlike PTI which is ready to resign from assemblies though they should resign from KPK too.

Though, im not sure of the timing of the announcing of his plan to enter Red Zone. He should have done it tomorrow.

Media is reporting that the street lights on Red Zone are being turned off and motorway may also be closed for today. PMLN is shit scared. :D

Fully agreed. That's why I've said IK has been using the Army threat for his gain instead of the other way around. It's a smart political ploy and if there's one thing PML(N) fears above all else, it's the imposition of a Martial Law. Nawaz Sharif isn't popular in Military circles particularly after his backing of Geo News and attending Modi's swearing-in ceremony in defiance of their advice.

PTI is on the point of no return. They failed to mobilize the masses and their civil disobedience call wasn't looked upon favourably by people. The only way, as they say, is forward and the call for resignation from Assemblies is a reflection of that.

PTI & PAT should put their respective party banners/flags down and raise Pakistani flag instead, and call everyone from Pakistan regardless of what political party they support. I was never His supporter, but I really liked the way Dr Tahir ul Qadri just called out the whole nation to come to Islamabad.
They should also try and join forces if possible since their basic motive is the same i.e to overthrow the current Government. IMO, this is what they have to do if they want to fill Islamabad.

Watch ARY news right now. Mubasher Lucman just said 'Mujhe messages pe message aa rahe hain logon k that hum apne hotels aur ghar karachi, lahore se chor kar Islamabad ja rahein hain PAT ke Inqilaab me shareek hone k liye' (not exact words but something along the lines). Don't worry. I have a feeling PAT's march will have atleast 5 lakh people at the moment of revolution.

That will be around 7-8pm because thats the time 48 hours threshold will be completed.

What I meant was that the timing to announce his intention to cross red zone was not right. Should have been announced tomorrow. It looks like he has played all his cards. This is the point of no return for him.

I don't mean to mock but that honestly isn't something to go on, a biased anchor's (that too, Mubashar Luqman) words. He comes across as the kind of person who usually gets "messages pe message" from a million different people during his show.

On topic: I sincerely hope this move by Imran Khan does NOT lead to a bloody mishap.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
