I Won Against My Family members who were saying that Argentina Will Won I Lost Hope When Higua'in was about to make a goal but The whole Match Changed when they dropped Klose and Made Gotze in.

I literally had people texting and asking me stupid questions. "yaar konsi team achi hai? kya lagraha hai aaj kon jeetay ga?" And before you know it they update their status on FB/Twitter "Germany ftw!".
But the worst ones are those who only know Ronaldo/Messi and support that team with zero knowledge of football. And what's worse, you ask? Acting like they were the ones who know it all. It got my nuts in a twist. Thank God it's over.

Were it not for his goals in the Group stages, Argentina would've drawn two games and lost one. As it happened, they won all three games so it should count as match-winning performances.
I would've handed it to Rodriguez as well. He scored in every game Colombia played and really made the difference. There wasn't any other standout performer in the World Cup apart from Messi but he lost steam in the KO stages.
Argentina hobbled into the final on the back of Di Maria and Mascherano. And I'll add Romero as an afterthought.
Messi face says it all, that who should have won the Golden ball.

BTW proud to see that Fifa match balls were made in PAK, just look at the quality of the ball, its hard to imagine that these balls were produced in PAK, this just goes to show our potential to the rest of the world, but sadly we are keep on getting exploited by the stupid Politicians that turn us to fight with each other.

Actually Sabella changed the tactics to solidify the defense more and with Di Maria out all the offensive creativity fell on Messi's shoulders couple that with the fact that Aguero, Higuain and Palacio were utter shit in finishing their chances you can't expect Messi to do it alone but he still proved decisive providing the ball that won Argentina the games and making dangerous plays. Di Maria's injury is what really hurt Argentina and with the modified 4-4-2 like formation the team was playing Messi was the attack since the rest of the Fab 4 had left their magic at home
Why no love for Kroos and Muller for the golden ball? For me they were far more deserving than messi.

Indeed. Di Maria was dearly missed. He complemented Messi really well.
The problem is that people have tied huge expectations with Messi. He is supposed to win you games on his own. And he won Argentina games single-handedly but when the going gets tough (as in KO stages), even the best of the best require assistance from their teammates every now and then.
Messi usually receives ample support from his Barca teammates which reflects in his club record. And he received close to nil since Di Maria got injured so I wouldn't blame him for the defeat.
But at the end of the day Rodriguez outshone Messi, both in terms of goals and personal worth to the side. This World Cup had a Messi performing below-par.
