guess we are in the same boat , i always forget its forward +HP+HK. Kinda tricky when your blocking so i have configured the L1 button with a HK , kinda easy to plink it when you launch or do a Alpha Counter , was having problem pressing em both on the vertical.

GGS with jawad, Ct and Iron . i am playing hugo as a anchor these days , although i have never played a grappler but man Hugo can do so some raw damage without meter. And catching a opponent back dash with his DP +K is sick. As for Rolento i am finally getting the hang of him at point , thanks to Iron for making me stick with the Stick man

No one posting in this thread? People got bored of the game already? Like me?

A lot of the guys I know are also saying that its very boring at high level. There is a tournament for this tomorrow but I'm not going. Its good that the EVO format is 2 vs 2 for this game. Otherwise it would be super un-hype and would die off after EVO.

Not bored at all but no light= no gaming = Depression!

Very much into this game right now , apart from the sound issue all is good. Got me xbox copy yesterday and i must say the lag on live is pretty negligible as compared to Psn. Played some games with iron last night and a while back.

For now i am playing rolento and hugo. The big ass clown can do some serious damage without meter!

So I got a bit of practice last night. The combos are pretty tough. I mean, I was doing some trials and I realized how some combos that end with a special move cancel after a hard attack or some something is more of a link that cancel. I was trying to do this Ken combo that had a HP srk at the end after a MK. But it kept launching and not even once could I cancel into it.

I think it's more to so with combos that have the LMH chain in them. If your character start chaining those hits the special has to be a link instead of a cancel. Am I making any sense?

LMH chains can be cancelled into EX moves, not normal special moves.
So yeah, to connect a normal special move after a chain, you need to link it if its possible (cant think of any examples of this)

Thank Gawd someone else is playing this game, I thought me and Iron are the only ones arround here. Can you tell me which Trial your trying to pull off with ken , maybe i can help u in that area although my execution is not that spot on.

As sephi mentioned you cant cancel your chains into special moves. Chains can only be cancelled in Ex special moves, super arts or cross arts. Lemme guess the Ken Hp Shoruyken is after a standing Mk or a Crouching Mk. The Mk should be linked for the Hp shoryuken to come out. If your Chaining the Mk it wont come out.

There are some Target combos for some characters which are special cancelleble. Like kens Target combos( lp>Mp) can cancelled into his normal special moves

Yoshinori Ono, the affable producer of Capcom's Street Fighter series, including Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter X Tekken, says he's stepping away from the series for a while. That announcement comes the week after Ono collapsed at a gaming event in South Korea and was taken to the hospital.

"Another person [will be] in charge of [the Street Fighter] series for a while," Ono said via his Twitter account today. He says he'll continue to support the series, but that he'll "be out of the limelight as fighting game series for a while." He says the Street Fighter X Tekken team continues to work on improvements for the recently released fighting game.

Ono promises his fans that he'll "think about the new future of fighting game after this."

"Physical health is of paramount importance," Ono later tweeted, which we hope means that he'll take serious efforts to get well and make that Darkstalkers game he's always talking about.

Agreed with Sephi. He has played a huge part in bringing up the FC right out of the shadows. Although i would like to see someone carry on his legacy with a fresh take on the FG Scene.

yesterday i and iron played for about 3 hours and had a lot of fun ... at least me iron and amir bhai is playing this game ... i did not even tried one fourth of the cast so my sf x t express has to travel quite long journey to reach boring station ... now a days wapda totally screwed our sf x t or i would say gaming scene other wise i keep playing this game all the time

Me and iron will be playing on live at 12 , so if your light is up be sure to join in. There is still so much to learn like i did not know u can launch your opponent after hit your opponent with three patriot circles with rolento. That accidently happened yesterday when i was playing with irons jin. Best of all it hit mid screen so no corner needed. Still have to confirm it in training mode if it can be done or was it a new glitch .

So who is in for a SFXT this sunday.

This game looked so good in trailers and videos. But boi it is so disappointing. Somehow it doesn't have the charm of SF4. Maybe because there isn't enough innovation or the visual style fatigue after so many iterations of a single engine.

Plus no fking LIE.

The online is okh but its the sound synching problem can turn u off . Me, Iron, afwasim, Mofo, Ct are already playing it .

Lei will be a DLC Character this fall so u have something to look forward to. This game is not like SF4 at all but give it sometime u will start liking it. Me along with others did not like this game cos we have been playing ssf4 for a long time, so did not think much of the game initially , since it has so many mechanics to learn. Stick with it and start playing it online with people around here , maybe u will start liking it as well

Good meet at Alis place today. Played some umvc but man 2 vs 2 in sfxt was awesome , Omy yuri and Mofos guile made quite a team i must say considering that you guys dont play this game much ,it was damn impressive. It was good to see Waleed and Ali starting out as well. Gawd the whole room shook when Ali starting qcfing those rufus kicks lols .This game may have a future for On PG
