Sorry. Please Wiki Cell Processor and see how many PS3 have sold been out just because of some organization using it to crunch Gflops. While 360 is a flop in that case.

A multiplatform engine where DICE promised to take "full advantage" of all the SPE's on the PS3 to bring the best possible experience on that console if using all those advantageous SPE's can't give any advantage over lighting banding issues (rather a glitch more than an actual hardware advantage i reckon) what was the point

^^No not really, Halo Anniversary is the same game from 10 years ago with a new layer of graphics.You can actually switch to the original graphics too in game.

Now i'm not the biggest halo fan on PG (see what i did there ? ) but even I can tell you the difference between a cleaned up "remake" and a brand new engine (albeit for graphics only).

I think people are undermining it just because it has same physics/animations as the original, but failing to recognize how there are completely new assets, textures and heck even new art style and a remixed score that has been recorded at Lucas Arts' Skywalker Ranch. This is not your average remake here folks.

It'd be a proper remake if It was built up on a new engine from Scratch using mostly new Assets.

Looking back at console sales in US during last two months in US:

Nov 2010
Xbox 360: 1.37mn
PS 3 : 530K

Dec 2010
Xbox 360: 1.86mn
PS 3 : 1.21mn

Thus Xbox 360 is all set to cover the current worldwide YTD gap during the holiday season in US and become top selling console of 2011 worldwide. November and December are high selling months in US,Canada,UK and Australia and Xbox has continuance dominance in first 3 markets while PS only outsells in small Australian market

The only people who buy xbox are normally crazed shooter fans, othrwsie, I don't see this console as much of a contender in variety.

where it really matters, the games, there is a very clear bias in which console has had the better results in multiplatform developed games. Who the fuck cares how many digital folding hours a console can do when what matters is the games on it lol, and what better way to judge than comparing games that are on both. What a stupid point of view this is .. besides the few first party exclusive title each console has (the last two big one's on the PS3 ironically are both shooters as well that you so despise) , every game is pretty much multiplatform already, your JRPG's like FFXIII's to Dark Souls plus the norm of genre titles like sports, adventure, party are all available across all platforms ..
