Zain KSA sim in Pakistan

I have zain sim running in my phone i want to know how its useable in pakistan it switched the network automatically from zain to zong when i arrived to pakistan, some messages also received like enjoy international roaming welcome to pakistan etc i have not make any calls or messages yet infact i tried to check balance as zong *222# code it says invalid mmi code or connection problem

It'll work but you'll be charged for incoming calls as well and outgoing calls would be quite expensive

*222# is for Zong, it will ONLY work on Zong numbers.

This is still technically a Zain KSA SIM card, so whether you want to check balance, or subscribe to a bundle, you will dial the same USSD codes as you would if you were still in KSA.

It's just roaming on Zong's network, and you can make/receive calls, and send/receive SMS as well, but mobile data will not work. Calling and texting will be very expensive as Imad mentioned, you can check the rates on Zain's website.

the same thing happend to my ufone sim in ksa it changed the network to mobily but did not work there anyway is it possible to use the zain sim with the same number but with different network

Depends if Zain has partnered with other networks in Pakistan.

If it has an agreement, do a network search on your phone, and it will show Ufone, Zong, Jazz, Telenor. Click on any other network, if it connects, then it will work.
