you want to connect your xbox 360 with the PC monitor? in that case just buy either original Xbox360 VGA cable which cost you more or buy the alternative cheap cable known as Dragon360 which is cheap and available in the local market.

dude you dont need a cpu , just a 360 and a monitor.

guyz i donno why u cant understand just go to the forum and see the topic xbox360 faqs there some one attached the pictures using vga hd cable and with different resolution upto 1280xsomethin i m asking that how could one change the resolution of the monitor if i connect the xbox directly to monitor (not to pc)...if u still cant understand then leave it

saadi perhaps you need some lesson's on manners, first you ask a silly question with no explanation whatsoever and then talk rudely to the people trying to guide you.
After you connect a monitor to 360, new resolution options appear in the 360 dashboard the resolution can be changed from there.

Dude I have a doubt about your age! I provided your detailed reply yesterday on the shoutbox..and now U again asking the same question? that someone who posted the pics is me! I told U buy the Dragon360 cable and it will work.

WOW...does this make any sense? if so then let me know so before blaming ang getting rude with others double check yourself first.

Now regarding the Xbox360 connection with the PC monitor, I told U already and I am again saying that U can connect it..just buy the Xbox 360 VGA cable either the official one or a cheap alternative known as Dragon360 which is available in the market.

^ no problem..I am glad your problem is now solved! and BTW I clearly stated that in the FAQs that the resolution gets changed due to the cable type..xbox360 can detects the cable change!

U can connect audio cables to stereo system, i have connected to my sony stereo system with surround speakers.
