Salam... i m having problem in running my games.... i cant play any game because whenever i insert a disc at dash board the game doesnt read and open tray error comes please if anyone can help me....

Dude i m still having problems after watching those videos..... i cant understand i have tried but i dont get it..... do i have to open my xbox to solve this problem......
Try this!
"hey i did it a diff way i saw a vid that u turn off ur xbox with ur game still inside. then u click the eject button(not the power button!) take out the disk realy fast, slam the tray back in then turn off ur xbox. then turn it back on and put ur game in and it should work. what it does is resets that little eye that reads the games. this trick did work for me without harming my xbox."

Dude i tried the first one but still same problem so wht shud i do now i m in australia on vacations so i cant open my xbox... is there any solution without opening it...

opening it is pretty easy! you just need a video tutorial from youtube, and a Torx 8 and 10 screwdrivier!
trust me, its very easy and simple, you wont harm your xbox!

Dude i tried tht thing but still having problems...... i even opened my xbox but no success now wht can i do to solve this problem
umm the method in the video worked fine for me!! so, either your Drive is fried, or you are doing it wrong!

@lord zordon .. please man for god's sake dont give that video to people ... a lot of people have come to me after messing their drive up after doing what the video says .....
i aint saying the method is wrong .. but 80 percent of the people mess up their drives after doing that ,... in the thread maker's case .. i am sure he has messed up the drive by now(since your saying you tried it and it didnt work) ...what i mean to say is that this work is not to be done by everybody because over turning the lens pot fries your drive lens instantly !! ...
