yup bro... i designed the window after obisition 800D..... though i wanted to give it a curve but then i thought it would be a copy paste lolx.. so i kept it straight
I've also gotten bored of blue.... please geme some tips man.... how about Red cathodes? and those orange fans? but everyone is using that... i wanna go for something newq

yeah i used double tabe to stick the acrylic with the panel....but now i'm thinking i should have used screwss. anyways after sometime i'm gonaa use glass because acrylics are prone to scratches.... this you told me N now i think i should have listened to you...

Double Tape is Fine u can Change the Acrylic if it gets scratechd BTW how much did the ACRYLIC costed u ?

and about the Curve i would say U shud have gone for curve , Curve Requires some hardwork and looks More Sleek !though it still look great and about the color combination u can check this thread for some references

Ah yes youre using an acrylic sheet. Dude dont use double sided tape with glass, since glass is much heavier than acrylic and double sided tape simply cannot hold that sort of weight, unless youre able to get a hold of some 3M double sided tape which has good hold. The local tape just doesnt work with glass.

And yes, glass > acrylic. Acrylic is light weight and doesnt break but it just doesnt have the clarity of glass. And it gets scratched wayy too easily. The acrylic sheet I had on got scratched even by cloth. Switched to glass now however, scratch-less and much more clear. Plus glass is cheaper.

The acrylic sheet he's put on wouldve probably cost around 300-400. A thin light-weight glass sheet of the same dimensions would cost around 70 rs.

The one I got for my 690 was the thinnest glass available. Its still quite heavier than acrylic, but does the job.
