Will I be able to use Amazon if?

Assalam-o-Alaikum everyone! I'm thinking of renting a few movies from amazon instant video but apparently it only works with a US credit card. My question is if I use an amazon gift card to purchase it, will it still work? Any answers would be appreciated.

Amazon prime membership is 79 Dollars/Year and grants you instant access of Thousands of HD movies from all categories ( From Action, adventure to Documentaries and History movies) along with Millions of Songs.

I have used my Pakistan Issued Credit cards to make purchases from Amazon with NO problem in the last 18 months.

But could you elaborate because on amazon it seems like if i get amazon prime then I get access to a movies,videos and tv shows that are prime instant videos but I only want to watch the latest TV shows and movies which I'd still have to buy regardless. Plus I don't really use amazon for shopping that often so the 2 day shipping thing isn't really that appealing. Can you give me any advice?
