If you can afford, go for DLink DIR-320 or a bit cheaper ASUS WL-520GU, both of them have USB ports and can be loaded with DD-WRT (a Linux custom firmware), not only can the USB port be used for a networked printer (obvious), but with DD-WRT and a USB stick / Laptop HDD in USB enclosure, you can run Transmission (a bittorrent client) and not have to keep a computer running just for a lame torrent that needs a few hours / days. You can also run a VoIP exchange for Nokia phones in case a few people need to communicate internally in case of SOHO or multi-story house. You can run a DLNA / UPnP media server so that you can watch the stored videos / pictures from a PS3, XBox360, iPhone, or Internet Ready TV. You are running a full blown Linux embedded system so the possibilities are endless. DIR-320 has a better USB chipset and twice the RAM compared to ASUS.
It might be too much info in your case but may help someone else too.
