how far is the tower from your residence?
Wi-tribe tower is like 300m from my home and its tempting to get a connection and get rid of PTCL but I'm afraid 5K might go down the drain

I'm don't know it's exact location because it's in the other society, but my society is right to that society.
I know that it was installed exactly 2 weeks ago because I ordered a connection before that tower was installed and when witribe's guy showed up there were no signals at my place. Then after 2 days he came again after the tower was installed and I was getting 3 signals.

They have a 3 day trial period so you can always return it if you're not satisfied

I called customer service they said there is maintenance going on in Karachi right now and as soon as its done my connection will be normal.
Also anyone getting witribe do note to never pass 2gb of download even in 3 days if you want to return it otherwise they wont return.

Anyone used this for gaming? How are the pings, any Nat issues? Also, how is HD video streaming? And has there been any downtime?
Has the speed increased? Maybe your tower is not operating due to ongoing maintenance.

Could be if you are connected to another tower that is less congested and by better I meant more consistent speeds.

Bought it yesterday, getting pathetic speeds and 0-1 signal bars despite the tower being literally in front of me according to the guy who installed it. I am almost next to their branch on University Road.
Not sure if I will get a refund as apparently running some speed tests has consumed 3 gb of data according to witribe account management page. :S

lol. I also ran lot of speedtests and surpassed the 2gb limit within a day.
Nevertheless if you are not satisfied try to get a refund still.
If they dont agree then try to install the device with its holes facing outside or place it somewhere else.
Go to 192.168.15.1 pass is witribe.
from their go to the first box saying mobile network.
Open it and keep it open and keep pressing refresh until you are changing your device's position. Try to get more than 1 signal or the dBm's written there under 100.

Currently I have given the device to my cousins. They get full signals and good enough speed at their home.
I got 60gb in the first free month and got 120gb again now since i got service on 17th of last month.
All things considered since the signals and speed are shit at my home i wont be renewing the services.
If someone got full signals at their house and cannot get ptcl more than 8mbps then i recommend this.

I decided to continue using it because apart from occasional slow downs, it has been working pretty decent for me. The only downside that I face is that once or twice a week it slows down for 3-4 hours in the evening. I've also upgraded my package to 500gb.
*The ping is a bit high in the screenshot because internet was was being used on other devices.
