I was very happy when MGR..METAL GEAR RISING WAS ANNOUNCED. But Alan Wake footage was awesome, this is what RE5 should have been.....Awesome(gameplay plus graphics plus horror plus thriller)

So what's yours ?

BEST MOMENTS
- HALO: REACH: Never expected another Halo title. Reach? The best story arc of the Haloverse.
- MILO: I expected Fable III or something similar but this was actually eye-popping and I hope it works.
- FINAL FANTASY XIV: FF14? I though Tretton slipped. 2010? Jaws dropped. Online? Jaws closed.

Honorable Mentions
- AGENT: Only on PlayStation 3
- No PS3 price cut
- Star Wars: The Old Republic cinematic trailer

BAD MOMENTS
- Elephant drawing with Natal
- Nintendo E3 Press Conference
- Ubisoft E3 Press Conference where 1043849839 titles were announced for Wii & DS
- Sales stuff in Sony Conference. Sales part are always boring anyway.

BEST TRAILERS/DEMOS
- Star Wars: The Old Republic
- Assassin's Creed II
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- God of War III
- Final Fantasy XIII (PS3 Trailer)
- Forza 3 & GT 5
- Amazing Alan WAKE
- The Burnout fast ending sequence of the snow mobile gameplay of Modern Warfare 2. Only watchable in the extended demo.
- Project Natal trailer (The good parts I mean like dashboard navigation, skateboard scan, face+voice recognition)

Hmm ... well FF 14 is the obvious anwer, but that ended up being a disaapointmenton, so i won't mention it. Nor will i mention Kojima sneaking onstage during the MS conference, because that was very expected.

Rather, my most surprising moment was probably them revealing GT PSP, and then announcing it's release date as October 2009, that's like 3 months away man !.

Second was the (late, thanks to shyber >_>) revelation that Spring means March, i-e Final Fantasy XIII in English will be available by March 2010 !!

Star Wars: The Old Republic trailer its an MMO but that after watching that trailer i am sure this is the game which will bring me out of my gaming retirement. I am even gonna dish out the monthly fees on this one.

Yep the kojima thing was a sort of expected but i'd have to say we knew they were gonna go into a new controller or something but they totally blew everyone away with the presentation all that remains to be seen is that it lives up to the hype.

I remember mentioning in the chitbox that spring is february, march etc but i think it was you who said it wasn't.Oh well it'd still be one hell of a game and march doesn't seem that long now does it?

i'd been following sw:tor for quite a while now, but the trailer (thanks to raptoria) blew me away! buy confirmed.

the most shocking moments were"

- ff14. and who cares if it's an mmo; as you can see i'm willing to try those bad boys out!
- no gt5 release date. i mean come on!
- i liked modnation racers. it's an excellent idea.
- the fact that birdman got snubbed 10 minutes after his presentation by another product that can actually scan your skateboard and use that in a videogame! i mean, what the hell was that!?

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
