Where to find ORIGINAL HP Probook 4530s battery in ISB?

I bought a "genuine" battery from Blue Area about 5 months back. Its time was around 1.5 hours. Gradually it decreased and since the past month, it only runs for 2 minutes without power. Whereas my brother was lucky enough to get his hands on an original battery which the shopkeeper claimed was taken out of the HP laptops. He bought more than a year ago and still today the backup time is more than 2 hours easily.

No where. No matter who claims what, you will NOT find ANY 'genuine' battery anywhere in Rawalpindi or Islamabad (or maybe in Pakistan). What you can do is get good quality aftermarket batteries, which your friend seemed to have stumbled upon.

I usually break apart these batteries for cell extraction to be used in other things and the inside of Chinese batteries is horrible.. Cells used inside are mostly from CJ brand or Lishan or few other Chinese which fail to deliver even 0.7a after 20 minutes.. At 1amps draw they get so hot that one cannot hold them in hand. Their internal resistance is double of Japanese and Korean brands.

Cells extracted from dead original battery from 2007 model are far superior to one year used Chinese battery.

Chinese cells have poor chemistry.


But they work ok for a year or so.
