I still found 3-4 ppls from PG on Garena Dota Room. I want to play all together like a Clan. Please guys post your online timings and Nick. Hope see you online soon.

stopped playing dota due to garena. Switched over to HoN.
Pros: Much better graphics
No paindoos
No retarded room player cap
No delay
You can reconnect till after 5 minutes of getting dced.
More games at one time
Con: Most people wont pay 30$ to buy the game

Playing time: There is really no playing time...I am online when ever i am free, though now a days due to exams I'll not be online till 27th of this month.

hey, how did you manage to buy HoN? I tried with my cousins australian credit card, and failed. I checked on the HoN website, and they say they've specifically blocked purchases from Pakistan due to high incidence of fraud. How did you go about it? Or are you outside of Pakistan?

well yea wow is better in many ways than dota but still dota has its own fun, which to be honest is as addictive as wow.

Some info for Dota players: Iccup, the famous, low latency ladder for Starcraft1 has started a Dota ladder as well. To learn more / to play, visit iccup.com. I tried it a couple of times with a friend of mine, and I liked it. Instead of having to alt tab in an out of the game, you do everything through the warcraft game interface. There are chat channels, friend lists, and game lists. The two times I tried playing, there were around 3000 players online, and getting a game going wasn't hard at all. The latency is comparable to garena, or maybe slightly better, its hard for me to be precise about this issue since its been a while since I played on garena.

Anyways, if any of you is playing Heroes of Newerth, leave your game names here, I'll add you and maybe we can play together :)

I have been playing WoW since last 4.5 year and I think i am bored of it now, want to start playing DoTA who can actually guide me how to make a good start, starting from dowloading it and joining ingame.

You would be better off buying Heroes of Newerth, since its better than DOTA in pretty much every way. FYI HoN is a game based on DOTA, and a lot of the heroes and items in it are direct ports from DOTA. Consider it an upgrade of DOTA. However, to buy HoN, you'll have to get a relative or friend outside of Pakistan to use a credit card to purchase it online for you. Once thats done, you can download the game and play, ie your relative wont have to parcel you anything, everything is done online.

If you cant buy HoN, and want to try out DOTA, just visit garenas website. They have all the information you need to get started. I'll give you an overview though: First, you need to have warcraft TFT installed, ie original game + expansion pack. Then you need to upgrade it to the patch people on garena are using, which is usually the latest one. After that, you need to download the DOTA map into your war3's map folder. You'll also need to install garena, specify the games path in its options, and use it to launch the game.

If you end up buying HoN, lemme know, we can play together :)

OK so i'm on garena too. Playing dota is a little less for me. More time for WOW.

garena name is ^Arsal^

WOW = Yurion (mage) Magtheridon server. Dont have an actual or set time to play. Can be almost anytime :D, yeah but its always after 3 in the afternoon.

    That's still higher than it's total play length. A 5 hour campaign for a $50 game is downright scammy.

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

    Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.
