Weird Problem with my PC

Aslam O Alikum Everyone, My Pc having weird issue from long time, This happened after i changed my Motherboard from DG41RQ to DG43NB
My PC SPECS
Pentium Dual-Core E6300 2.8 idle 34 load 50
DG43NB(problem started with this board)
Kingston KVR 800mhz ddr2 (single)
Seagate 500gb 7200.12
Cooler Master Extreme 600w
Asus ENGTS 450 Idle 22-25 Load 45
Windows 7 64bit (dont ask why 64 on 2gb ram, i had 64bit on dg41rq too)

When I start Computer it run fine for few minutes then it get Stuck. HDD Light offs and never on. After restarting it starts working fine Even if i run it for whole day. having this problem after changing board as i said above. So guide me solving this problem out. I can stay with this but why not try solving it.

No response from hdd, (lights remain off) it happens sometime ,sometime dont,

Bios Updated
windows Re-installed Several Time
Latest Drivers
tried Changing Cables
ran memtest

If the problem happens inside Windows, it might be a driver issue. Already installed G41 chipset drivers may not like the new G43 chipset.

Tried reinstalling the Windows? Looks like a software problem to me, not hardware-related.

Change the RAM Slot. Sometimes, a bad memory module can also cause freezes.

For once, try moving to 32bit Win7 and see it makes any difference.

(Try) to remove the HDD SATA power cable AND the SATA (red) cable and again Plug them in properly and Firmly again.

Sounds to me like a case of ram or HDD problem, if memtest+ or windows memory diagnoistic checks ram as fine then move on to checking HDD try running chk dsk file system and bad sector then try SMART check, for example using ActiveSMART software can give a very accurate result if ur HDD is starting to fail

@slasher i tried this thing too , not once many time (btw not for this problem for another purpose),@ spartha .no error in checkdsk and no option of checking this in activesmart btwmemtest give good result no error same in windows test

well the whole program is a big smart check u will see no option it will show percentage of performance and drive health

btw, i just fixed a problem almost like yours for a friends computer it was faulty HDD 4 sure replaced it with another one and things were great, you can also try other more direct hdd repair methods such as using software by the offcial maker of the HDD like Sea tools from Seagate since seagate is your hard drive.

just reread your post seem to have missed the part about new board, might just be faulty if its not the HDD, motherboard being the center piece it will be difficult to pin point whats the exact issue would reccomend by only connecting things that are needed to run then try for a while.

Might be some USB hardware like headphones etc causing this problem but it seems strange even after reinstalling windows it should have not happened if it was a software issue

As far as hardisk led is concerned, there may b casing pin problem, that it sometimes conducted sometimes not............so open the case and connect the pins of hdd led on mobo again,
May b its a problem,

bro this happens on first boot only, if i turn it off on problem (cant restart even through button when pc stuck) and turn on again it starts working fine, or restart with own will

Dear recheck your system and remove / disconnect all additional items including graphic card and use builtin vga for testing purpose. Any modem card, WLAN, Sound card OR any additional item including optical drive may be disconnected (both power and data cables). There should be mobo, psu, ram and processor. Give it a test. If it does not fix, than try a different stick of ram and than an other hdd, just get one on loan basis from any of your friends.

Update here accordingly.

more or less same thing happened to me but the difference was that my system got stucked and resume normally by itself or you can say that booting took time for about 15 minutes even going in BIOS took 15-20 minutes problem got resolved when i changed the casing (wtf)

Have you done any overclocking? Try to run at default settings.
