  • Yes from the amount of activity on their forum, we should expect this option as a part of BIOS or as a Small utility from Seagate. Reliability of desktop drives is always based on luck. Server class extremely durable hard drives with GPT native support are too costly to be affordable for average PC. I am using mine as backup drive anyway. So it will be used a lot less. If I need speed I will buy another SSD which is correct way of doing things. These drives are actually for storage and backup.

Now I am really understanding Apple's way of doing things. Even if their best iMac is limited to 1TB one can always use external drives on thunderbolt for backup purposes. We are just utorrent maniacs and this is the cost we have to pay from which we save from buying games and movies.
Yar now I am kicking myself, I should have bought 2x 1TB 7200.12 drives, Those are much quite and last really long. This 2TB give great performance but that's not needed since we have SSDs.
Sir we have thought over this in the past but came to the conclusion that it will cause complications for new members.

We have already seen that new members make threads in wrong sections, like PS3 in Computers section and Mobile phones in Consoles section. So doing this would increase the complications.
