Wateen WIMAX new packages

New Rates. They are challenging.

I don't find their packages attractive..it's sitll expensive as compared to the DSL rates of these days and then I just hate that Bandwidth limits <_< right now only those peoples are subscribing to Wimax where telephone line is not available, at least this is what I have seen in karachi.

actually in elite tech at ned last week.
there were also wateen outlet there.
they told that thier package is for 6 months
that means u can use 16gb in 6 months and just pay 1450 for once for 6 months.
or u can finish ur 16gb in a week and then again pay 1450. for another 16gb.
P.S u have to pay 5000rs installation cost. and +1000 for outdoor unit.

Why r they still sticking to Bandwidth limitations while DSL iz Unlimited!
Also its not that cheap to consider over DSL

Rs. 1750 is wayy to much for Wireless internet , cuz its speed is nothing compared to DSL . I dont think MOST people appreciate the bandwidth limit cuz its just pointless !!! (lame)

Yar if there is no limit of download then maybe we can buy it . We can forget online gaming lags but if its cheapest . And i know if its download is unlimited then DSl will go for 2048 for the same price LOL.

Given that other ISPs have unlimited packages, no package with a limit, even if its 50gb, is going to look good. I'd rather have a 2mbps unlimited package than a 4mbps 20gb package, you know. People who really make use of the internet and the bandwidth and speed available to them, like most of the ppl on these forums, will shy away from limited packages.

theres no 4mbps package, I was simply giving a hypothetical example to stress that unlimited bandwidth is a big factor in deciding what package to get. The fastest available is 2mbps afaik.

maybe the competition between ISPs will become so intense we'll all have 15mbps connections for 500/month in 6 months. Maybe they'll also start giving out 9900gx2 graphics cards and 30" LCD monitors as an incentive to get a connection. WHO KNOWS? lol

wn ptcl strted they had 256kbps at 3 gb (1200 rs) per mnth n i guess tht was less thn six mnths ago n now at da same price u get 512k wt unlimited bandwidth.... same goes fr micronet... wateen JST HAS TO DO IT to stay in da market
