will wow run on a machine that runs half life 2 adequately ? at 512 kb/s ? and how much space will it take ?

You talking about WOW? it requires around 7 GB of HDD and should run if HL2 runs. The download speed is okay but if you are using PTCL they have a low upload speed meaning lag during raids and PvP.

You should know WOW requires an original copy and $10 monthly fee.

There is a hack for it, through which you can play on Blizzard's own servers... I think you would need to google for it, as I have forgotten what it was

OK Chandoo i play on WOW Scape.Rafay also play with me as we are guild fellows.Check the How To Play World Of Warcraft for free and you also need the TBC exp and all the pathces till 2.4.3.Ok the servers are on 2.4.3 patch so you can download and install the patch.The size of the patch is 27 Mb.

1.Lag is not only the issue of people from our country so it happens to all even to guys from USA.I have witnessed very little lag on wowscape and that happens when u in raid and many things gathered up at one spot.
2.Bugs are an issue but the good thing is the server guys support system is great.Just post your problem in their forums and they will tell you the solution.
3.98% story and side quests work on the server as i have grinded all the areas of the game with my lvl 70 characters.
4.There are almost daily events like 30 people pvp, Arena Matches, Horde or Alliance base storming etc and they are very greatly organized and the awards are really cool like special mounts and weapons etc.

1. If u have 256+K (wired) connection then u won't experience any lags, 512K is the sweet spot
2. As far as i can remember, there are just 5% of the total quests which are bugged

But in WOW Orcs r in the Scourge why?

In World of warcraft Orcs are in the Horde Faction which is in no way evil
Th undead in the Horde are those that are led by sylvanus, they are free of the scourge's grasp and act independantly.
The Alliance is the rival faction.
SO there's no Good and Evil betwen the Horde and Alliance.

On the free servers Levelling is quite easier since they have higher exp rates however many quests are left out in the process too.
But its FREE soo its good.

But still i play on the Offical servers
