Urgent info req- Online Air tickets!!!

Hi guys. I need some very urgent info regarding purchase of Saudi Airlines ticket online. People have told me that...

1) Buying ticket online with a credit card, they'll charge an extra hidden amount over the mentioned amount on their website.

2) I don't have a credit card and if I'll use somebody else's credit card to pay online..i.e. my dad's, then they'll ask for the card at the boarding counter and won't let me get on the plane without checking it....really weird!!!

Please help me out as I need 2 leave urgently. Difference between a travel agents price n the website for a non refundable ticket is like 5000 rupees per ticket which I dont wanna waste.

Cant say anything about internation but

1) yeah there are extra costs but depends on debit / credit card issuer, I used a debit card and it was only like ~100 or so extra. I don't remember exactly buy it was to a Karachi flight

2) I bought a Karachi ticket a couple of times online and was never asked for my credit / debit card =/ they just see the ticket number and all. Heck on my 2nd trip I had my agency email me my ticket because I forgot my ticket in the car and used my phone to display it through out my trip. All they really need is the PNR number on the ticket but I guess I got lucky.

CC has to match I have heard that too...but never seen it happen cuz i did not use cc. Online is expensive in majority cases you should confirm with official Saudi Airlines office in Karachi as they will provide better rate than online.

Thanks bought the tickets through agent. bloody 40k per person. Nothing comes cheap from the agent. Will be back in a month and will make a new thread on "Best Credit Card"
