urgent help

hi i hav a sony vaio laptop which has a nvidia 8400m gt GPU which got dead two dayz ago then i took my laptop to a laptop shop in hafeez center n the guy there fixed the gpu chip by pouring in some glue type thing & spread it using hot air i got it repaired right in front of me itz working fine but the problem is the GPU temp. .......in almost idle just using youtube itz 80 degree centigrade which i think iz way more for just youtube so here iz the deal i could pay 37000 n exchange it with HP dv6 - 1361 or i should i keep my sony laptop with me so tell me what should i do

80C is too high, try to get it fixed. Btw what are specs of the of the hp laptop ur talking abt? :|

c2d 2.53ghz 3mb
4gb ddr3 upto 8gb
320gb hard @ 7200 rpm
ati 4650 1 gb dedicated (i think it aint good)
finger print reader.....etc

U said that it has 8400m GT GPU than how can it have HD4650!?!
and Please Mention the model number of the LapTop.

mine iz sony vaio vgn-fz180e/b......Full HD with Blu-ray & my laptop GPU is 8400m GT .........HP latop has 4650 GPU which i was thinking to trade but i want ur ppl opinion that should i buy a laptop cooler for my sony or exchange it with HP by giving 37K extra..... :S

yaar i have made my mind n now i m gona get a new laptop i cannot take the risk of keeping a fire ball laptop so tell me if the above mentioned HP iz gud or do u hav something more to offer max range iz 85 to 87 K....thanx in advance.

^ bro check out the Dell Core i3 lapppy. its very fast and not very expensive Price is 56k at www.galaxy.com.pk check it out :wink2:

Also 37k for exchanging for that lappy is too much. Vaio already costs abt 70k giving another 37k for that is not good Better to sell ur lappy and buy a new one.

Still I'd say get it checked from Sony, if they can solve the problem, then you can save ur money . laptop cooler will help but in this case its of no use since the GPU SHOULD NOT get so hot.
