As Title Says.........I am Running Core i5-750 +P7P55D-E+ 4GB XMX3 DHX 9-9-9-24 1333mhz On HD5770 And Is Quiet Satisfied MASHALLAH...........!!!

I want To Know That Is Upgrading from 1st Gen To 2nd Gen i.e Core i5-2500k + P8P67......Rest Remains Same For Time Being Gonna Make a Difference Or Simply a Waste Of Money??????
from 45nm To 32nm With Upgraded Bus Speed But Lesser Cache Is Somewhat A Confusing Situation.......!!

Something After Sandy Bridge i.e Ivy Bridge Is Also Expected In 2012 Based On 22nm With PCI-E 3.0 Support...But I Think Will Be Back Compatible With Old LGA1155 MB's...

So I Am Quiet Confused And Thing Is Also That I am Not Also Getting The MB I Think Is Better i.e p8p67......!!!

What Do you Guys Suggest.........!!!
My Current Rig Is Running Without Any Issues MASHALLAH And So Far Performing Very well....!!!

Thats What I Am Thinking Now To Get Ivy Bridge...........Performance Difference Is Not Worth For The Money I Will Loss In B/w Shifting To Sandy Bridge......!!!

I suggest u pull another six months atleast with your current rig. get save up some cash. see the new lineups and then decide.

Yes It worths a lot but not that much that u do so many nuqsan in 1st generation in selling and then do more nuqsan in buying second generation and u cant fight with intel bcz next month sandy bridge e processors will come then after sandy u will say i waana go to sandy bridge e and so just be Happy what is with u OK...

First of all If you are satisfied with the performance then- no need to upgrade

but if you are NOT then don't wait

why don't wait?..i won't promote your idea on waiting for IVY bridge.. sure it's going to be e better technology but for now the wait is not worth it (if u are out of budget it can be considered though) because IVY bridge as far as i know is giong to take about 1.5-2 more years to release.. and make it your policy NOT to buy any product at the time it is newly launched because there is a massive risk for it's failure first time as that is the stage of product testing which is implemented on the customers and product's success is being determined by failures.. sure ul have local warranty but then u have to wait for the cure..

remember Sandy bridge when it was launched.. the mother boards failed.. Revision B3 for which people have waited a couple of more months

remember XBOX360.. it took Microsoft 3 Generations of heavy modifications (Xenon, Zephyr and Falcon) to the design of 360 to counter RROD atlast @ Jasper

so if any one wants to enjoy PC gaming for now i would suggest a good i5 2400 sandy is ready to go for stars and don't worry it's performance wouldn't be any thing less than an IVY sandy whenever it comes out inshaALLAH...

but as i said if u have a budget constraint then u don't have any option.. u must wait.

sandy release hua...and it failed due to crappy faulty boards.... phir kuch months baad new boards with 3.0 revision k sath sara maamla set hua
ab ivy pata nahi kb release ho ga...or pata nae us mein kitne issues aein gay jo slowly slowly resolve karein gay intel walay...

do remember that bulldozer is coming...dont know when...i have heard abt its super 8 and 16 core processores at amazing prices.....stock speeds of 5ghz.....o_O
....recently amd holds the record of 8ghz overclocking....

anyway stick to ur current rig...its more than enough....

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
