After waiting for so loooooooong, I decided to get a good pair of headphones for once! Not impressed by beats, like senheisser, wanted beyerdynamic, almost bought audio-technica until I finally chose party cans!(DJ)
Presenting, The V-Moda Crossfade LP2 Limited Edition!!!! Thanks to Jshak for importing and providing a valuable service to the gadget freaks in karachi :clap
Brief Review of Hardware:
The box is fairly large, around 8 inches in height, 6 inches broad, with all technical information on it. Has hot girls both outside and inside
Package is secured by a verification code and a ribbon on the top to ensure it remains tamper-proof. It has a fancy looking leather handle and a button that secures the box.
The headphones are packed in the carrying case, which looks like something from star trek aggressive styling, very modern. It has its clip to hang on to different loops such as one on the bag etc.
Comes with 2 cables (one with mic and other a simple connecting cable, gold plated of course) a 6.3mm jack and a pair of interchangeable headphone covers.
The headphone itself is built with stainless steel, seems very durable. The ear muffs are made from leather and memory foam, but fits too snugly for my liking. Headband is adjustable with very nice click at each step.
It has that appearance which catches the attention, unlike other boring round designs. These are hexagonal in shape, which covers the whole outer ear
Test setup: Laptop with beats audio as hardware output source. Won't be too majestic, but a step towards audiophile level. This setup provided a decent level of bass with little focus on mids and balanced highs. A very basic and practical review, since not many people can afford a decent amp (might look into one though....)
Will comment about sound quality later in this thread. Then the mods can combine the portions and prepare a review if they like.

UPDATE:
Sound Review
Well, The first thing that you'll notice is the serious amount of bass!!! Head rattling is the word that comes in mind. Literally, you can feel the headphones shaking and vibrating as the drivers deliver the consistent, distortion free bass.
Mids are muddled out. But that is understandable as the headphones are targetted towards audience that is looking for electronic, hip hop, metal and rock genres (wide description).
Highs are clear, and fill color to the whole listening experience. This can be a positive or negative as sometimes, people might get annoyed by some random shrill or cymbal crash, but works pretty well for Me.
Overall, you can feel the sound isolation as no outside noise can penetrate the sonic barrier However, there is a drawback; sound leaks out. This would bother people at workplace. Alot. Since they would get jealous by the crazy looks and awesome sound Works pretty well in noisy environment, took it for a spin till korangi in university and no annoying traffic sounds on the way.
Another drawback is very obvious i.e. closed back headphone case. The sound feels boxed in, as compared to HD 518 from sennheiser, but there is a certain edge in all modern audio genres. I also tested some classics and lionel richie sounded good too!
Overall, 8/10 regarding sound quality, with points deducted for mids and sound-stage. But in real life practice, I'm very happy with the performance!
UPDATE 2:
Tested 2 movies, with bad audio quality. Even that sounded pretty well. The booming sound and clear vocals were strongly in favor of these cans. As I said, these are designed for flashy stuff, they deliver well as promised. Yesterday, I tested out beats and the physical quality was terrible. Felt like flimsy plastic. Tested HD 558 and only advantage was a broad soundstage.
Another 8/10 for the quality!
