Hey guys! Finally got the Nintendo Switch at launch!

#1 Post some nice pictures when you get time and a comparison shots with other handhelds would be nice if you happen to own any like 3ds or psp/vita etc.
#2 Preview of the hardware its self like how it feels in undocked mode, the screen quality (I have head so much praise for this 720p sweet thing), battery life, playing AAA titles on handheld, joycons I mean you get the idea.

I am also waiting to get mine but the prices are crazy here like 500$ or so on top of that the units aren't even available to purchase so I have to wait a bit longer maybe end of March to get my hands on one and just like you I will get it with breath of the wild so its early impressions would be welcome.

No issues here bud. I'm sure it's a small percentage...but you hear more of them because everyone else isn't complaining. PS4 had the same issues at launch but it was like 0.1% of the total sales. I would advise you wait a few batches if you'll be making a purchase without a warranty.

I was thinking of getting it in the first week, but the prices I saw were mostly around 360-380 euros and was sold out at most locations. Gamestop told me to wait for around 2 weeks for new stock but they also said that price will stay on the higher side till may.

price will stay on the higher side? If you're purchasing from a retailer....the price will always be MSRP. Surely you're not expecting the price of the console to fall below MSRP by May? It won't happen for another 2 years (maybe longer cause it's Nintendo)

380 euros is a bit too high for the console but it's mostly due to the European tax I think, the price will settle at 350-360 euros i think, that's what they were trying to explain i guess, i have checked in Finland till now, will confirm from Köln and Munich in a while.
What are your initial impressions of the device? Is it worth the price at the moment?

Its an awesome device. Docking and undocking never gets old. I think Zelda and Shovel Knight will keep me company till next month when Mario Kart comes out. If you're able to get a hold of it and you have to pay a little bit more, I think go for it.

Pics updated to add the neon joy cons. They seem funky and I wasn't sure if they were my style but upon unboxing and attaching....i realized it gives character to the Switch!
