tried OC .. cud not go above 3.7ghz .. and ram latency abot 7 7 7 .. didnt make any diff on the winrar ...

Its because of the value RAMS. WinRAR takes full advantage of higher clocks + tighter timings.

(PS. Ommee you need to update your 'My Rig')

Considering your timings there are tighter than mine.. so you should get a better score... but hmm.. strange.. are the timings manually entered or automatic?

automatic .. .. well i was also using an older version on winrar .. used the 3.9 and got 2782 at stock and at 7 7 7 timings and 3.4ghz got 3722 .. almost 1k difference
