$225 USD is for entry level board you're referring to I assume, right? If so, I highly doubt it can be around 25k over here and if anything it'll be around 25-30k range over here.

Looks like it might be possible or at least nearby, all those super high benchmarks on LN2 but this one I'm sharing now is something you can achieve normally. Oh and all this was done on ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Extreme, @Dark Sith.

Btw, I checked VRAM usage in Witcher 3. Merely a little over 3GB was being used max I saw was around 3.5GB so average should be a little over 3GB unlike Batman where I was hitting VRAM limit
And yes, everything was all maxed out at 4K.

no doubt all 2nd Gen K-Chip are most of them go for 5GHz. well it was the only Ocing paradise chip ever made. Skylate will give something close to sandy stuff, not exactly same but we will have something.

Agree!! sandy bridge were the best for overclocking, since 4th gen intel only provide set of features in every new generation not that it will matter directly for gaming,
For a guy who has 4th gen and jumping to 6th gen is not the best decision unless he wants usb 3.1 or NVMe in raid or as a boot drive(non z87 boards can do it, i think) or ddr4, so my point is non of these will matter for gaming, all 4th gen k series can do 4.6-4.8ghz if skylake can even hit 5ghz, i mean common for 200-300mhz you are investing that much,
On other hand for those who are on x58 or z68, for them upgrading to skylake makes a lot sense,

Guys on 4th gen need to invest on there gpus or freesync IPS monitors since Asus has 27" 2560x1440p IPS 144hz (35-90hz freesync) monitor for around 75k locally or Dell 34" curved IPS 60hz 3440x1440, unfortunately G-sync is very expensive above 1lac here if you can order from the local distributor, Lastly i wish Acer can come here officially so that we can see G-sync in reasonable price.

That wasn't mine, it was done in testing by ASUS Rep and shared at Overclock forums but regardless it's definitely amazing and I'm looking forward to these chips, I'm mainly waiting for revised version of Skylake like 4790k with higher base clock.

Yes, I'm already on 4K G-Sync and it's heaven, considering ASUS ROG or Acer Predator 34" Curved G-Sync 1440p monitor with 100hz since it's gonna be a while until 4K goes beyond 60hz, this is the monitor I'm using right now: http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/f139/[unboxing]-4k-g-sync-gaming-220718/

I'm considering getting a Curved G-Sync monitor myself, one of these most likely:

They're both gonna cost ~$1300 with identical specs, I'll most likely grab one on my trip to the States and bring it back with me to Pakistan myself this time.
Oh and .. Acer Predator version also comes with FreeSync that I was interested in but it comes with 75hz so I won't be buying that.

For that .. seeing is believing, G-Sync is a must if you're wanting to game on 4K nowadays without SLI setups. Games with 40fps feels like running buttery smooth at 60fps.
Also tearing is gone in racing games such as DiRT 3 which I totally love so for me, G-Sync was the best thing ever happened to me after 4K and getting them both in same package is just bliss.

1440p, I'm only considering for higher hertz. I could go for higher than 100hz but I like the idea of curved 1440p so most likely will be getting that to replace my current ultrawide monitor InshaAllah

Exactly! You can get 200fps which you will with even a single 980 Ti on 1080p games but you cannot tell the difference because the screen is capped at 60hz and since 4K won't go beyond 60hz anytime soon, I want to try more than 60hz for games like Battlefield and such.
