Sup amigos,

Finally assembled this beast. So feast yourselves on all this eye candy.

First is the case -
Corsair Crystal 460X RGB. (Note that this is a compact ATX case and its efing hard to work in this)

And finally out of the box. Looks so awesome.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdy

The top side, good thing is the dust filter is magnetic and of very good quality.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdL

And the front which has a tempered glass.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBdQ

Side pane, also tempered glass (there's no cheap plastic on this baby)
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdR
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdb

Inside of the case.
3 Sp 120 RGB fans to suck in all that air keeping all your stuff cool.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBd3

The PSU shroud.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBd9

Coming over to the backside.
There's three 2.5 inch drive bays which (seem) conveniently located at the back. The lightning controller of the fans is on the left and the fan hub is at the bottom. The preinstalled cables already come neatly zip-tied so they weren't much of an issue.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBdM

Closer look at the lighting controller. The lighting controller is connected to the top panel of the case so you don't have to open the case every time you need to tinker with the lighting settings.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdU

I do think this was the fan hub.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdz

The box that came with the case, a bit disappointed that it didn't have much in it. Was expecting more stuff to be included from Corsair for a premium case.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBd0
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdJ

Yes that's only ONE standoff, just one! El O El

https://extraimage.net/image/jBdK

And now the sexy board - ASUS ROG Strix Z370-f Gaming.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdi
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdZ

Accessories with the board
4 Sata cables, two straight and 2 angled at 90 degrees

https://extraimage.net/image/jBde

Zipties
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdC

Hard SLI bridge
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdY

Fan holder, exactly which fan is this supposed to hold of i have no clue about.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdp

These are the 3d printing mounts.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdr

CPU installation tool, what this does is above me. I just slapped the CPU bare naked on the socket. What this was for again no clue.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdr

Some other stuff i don't know about.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBd4
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdB
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdG
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdX

The backplate is nice and black.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBdg
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdv

Some stickers if you're into that sort of thing and door hanger.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBd5
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdD

And lastly, manual, cd and documentation.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdF

Now the board itself in all its glory. Its a beauty.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBdk
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdo
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdt

IO panel side.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdx

Then comes the beast,
Intel Core i5 8600K.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdd
https://extraimage.net/image/jBd6

Its a gaming system so ofcourse there's a graphics card.

Behold Gigabyte GTX1060 Extreme Gaming 6gb

https://extraimage.net/image/jYbX
https://extraimage.net/image/jYbH
https://extraimage.net/image/jYbk
https://extraimage.net/image/jYbG
https://extraimage.net/image/jYbg
https://extraimage.net/image/jYb5
https://extraimage.net/image/jYbF

Opening the box, there's another box on top, however this one is much slimmer. It has a neat looking folder and some other thing i didn't bother to look xD.
https://extraimage.net/image/jBh2

Here are the rams,
Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb (8x2)
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdh
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdA
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdW
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdf

Surely it can't run on air so the PSU.

800 watts of Xigmatek power semi modular PSU
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdI
https://extraimage.net/image/jBdV

Then the assembly process which was a nightmare on this case because of its compact size.
For starters, the cables from the PSU barely had enough space to get out from the cut out as you can see in this picture. I would recommend getting a smaller PSU if you want to go for this case.

https://extraimage.net/image/jBdu

Aaaand i didn't take any more pictures after this until the system was complete. It was so stressful working on this.
The backside doesn't have enough space for your cables to be easily routed to where you want.
Cable management was a disaster and i had to go through a couple of tries to get everything (almost)right.

System fully assembled

Thanks guys.

Yes, indeed it did look awful hahaha. But this was when i had just completed building it up. I didn't ziptie any of those cables or route them properly from the back because i wasn't sure if it would even turn on.

You know the risks of making a new system :p

But since then i've had a couple of go's at it and have managed to do a pretty damn good job of it. I'll upload a fresh picture of the backside as soon as my cooler arrives or maybe i'll do it before that.

Its just that the case lacks so much space at the back for cable management. Wish i had a SFX psu for this. That would have been a whole lot helpful.

A note worthy advise to folks who are thinking about purchasing this case, get a SFX psu if you dont want to go through the nightmare that i have.

regarding the casing, why not opt for nzxt? or are u a corsair fan? :D or unless after some research u settled for 460x? also r u using an SSD or normal? also how much for the whole system?

all in all, a very decent purchase, and im really happy to see someone using rgb rams for the first time, unless iv missed some :p

Amazing setup bro. Congratulations.
You could have settled for a smaller PSU of 600 watts, but anyhow, congrats.
I wish you all the best. Happy gaming !!!!!!

The 1060 was free, got it as a replacement for my 970 which stopped working (god send it was). NZXT cases that were available just didn't have the sex appeal this one had if i can put it that way so i went for this, not a corsair fan but this one looked gorgeous so why not. Forgot to take pictures of the hard drives, the system is sporting a Samsung 256GB 840 PRO SSD, WD Black 1TB and WD Green 2TB.

For the rams i would have settled for the GSkill rgb rams but they weren't available and the costs of these blasted things is sky rocketing so i settled for these. They still do look very much visually appealing so it works.

Hahaha indeed i could have but here it is anyway. Its always better to be future proof incase i might want to add another GPU (i know i will never ever do that xD)

yes youre very lucky... since many of the pg members here have taken advantage of their personal 1060 and selling them at a very high price due to the bitcoin nonsense -.- and it doesnt stop there, AMD cards have also increased a lot. :(

anyways, excellent purchase on the whole bro :) Allah mubarak kare
