This weeks episode was kind of boring after the review of La Ferrari they wasted too much time on bashing the Peugeot and i was thinking oh God someone should give them a Pak Suzuki Mehran/Alto/Caltus to drive so they can trash the idiotic company.
Boring for us because we couldn't relate to the bashing. Imagine how funny it would be if it was bashing for a company we can't relate to.

What was that Ferrari and Maclaren BS in the end

I was really hoping to see which one is the fastest around the Top Gear track

Review of La Ferrari was really good, man that car is hawt and fast

So of the three hyper cars, which one is your favorite?
Its really hard for me to choose between La Ferrari and P1
Both are amazing cars
It wasn't BS. Companies are quite sensitive when it comes to comparing their flagships to other companies flagships. They want to make sure that their car remains the best and testing all three of them on the most watched show in the world would make anyone nervous.

5th Episode was a mixed bag. It was mildly interesting, very amusing, but overall much less brilliant than the previous episodes. Nonetheless, it was a likeable one. My problem this time, was with flashy cameras. They have started to become a bit too flashy, that they ruin the mood and make the review a little stupid. On the upside, no humongous cinema bars. So thats a huge plus.

About the LaFerrari review, if i am honest, I liked May's review but hated the car overall. If you think about it, the Porsche 918 is the engineering marvel of them all, and P1 as runner up. Ferrari's concept of 'not giving a f*ck about batteries' might put them on the brilliant board for some, but i genuinely believe that doesn't make their LaFerrari any better than their previous ferraris, except faster, agile and so on. Also, even in styling department, the 'discreet' and 'quietly beautiful' Porsche takes the lead. (What i think is irrelevant anyway, so WTH).

About the lap times, its not the first time Ferrari has done something like this. Anyone remember FXX? That car driven at the test track by Michael Schumacher because Ferrari won't let TheStig drive it? ABSURD. Also, it sends the wrong message out that 'they are afraid they might lose to their rivals'. But the pricing may attract the 'right' buyers (if you know what i mean). About the 'banning by Ferrari' part, can't believe they can go to such limits <_< Personally, any company pulling such tricks should be shown a "GTFO" sign, and i am pretty sure many people already do.

The small mockumentary about Peugeot, it was very enlightening and staggering at the same time. For a company deliberately making bad cars, they are pretty good at it. I say this because no company 'serious' in making cars, can make same mistake multiple times. So that 'meeting' pretty much sums up whatever must have happened to it. Not sure about you, but i laughed my guts off at the stupid 'Maniacal' stuff both Clarkson and May were doing. That Face, don't forget that face both of them were constantly pulling in their vehicles :D

It would have been the best comparison of the decade.
THIS. Completely agree on this. Not to mention, we have been waiting for it since the Series 21 (or was it 20?).

Also, think about it for a minute ... which is the most practical car of them all. It'd be obvious to find the winner. Its the 918.

There is no denying that Ferrari makes amazing cars, but they are just being a Abuses will lead to ban about this. Especially trying to control how an owner uses his vehicle...like they did with DeadMou5. It's ridiculous. And says alot.

This is one way to control a brand from using value. Infact, in most cases this kind of mofo-principles help a brand increase value. Ferrari is now aiming for Bugatti-Veyron type of thing, producing specific number of vehicles to special high-profile people. And if you haven't noticed, their quality has also been greatly reduced in past couple of years (the body-work-consumption by that Ferrari 458 in Season 20 (2013) by Hammond).

Anyway, sometimes the 'fastest' and 'most powerful' doesn't make you best of the lot, so i don't think other two have anything to fear about.

About the DeadMou5 incident, wasn't he sent a 'cease and desist' notice, for fiddling with Ferrari's

It was the last series when they tested out the 918 and the P1. I thought they would do it in the perfect road trip special but they didn't and now this.

The 458 incident was surprising. The underside had holes after a couple of laps because of the dust. Yeah they threatened that they will take away the car. Nissan even gifted him a nyan cat gtr to show some snark.

Sixth episode out. Top gear is back after the less than stellar episode last week.
This episode features a review of the Lexus RC F and Jeremy explains how the car misses achieving what it tries to. The main event on today's episode was rescuing Hammond from a mountain somewhere in Canada. Jeremy and James were on the job and they showed quite the determination for it. They chose two of the next American pickup trucks the Ford F-150 and the Chevy Silverado.

The best part of the episode was Hammond raging all over the place when the duo took four days to complete a job that originally was intended for 24 hours.

Episode 6 was such a treat  The amount of sh*t these presenters have to handle is staggering :S Hammond's Experience was eye watering funny, and discreetly agonizing. Just look at his tantrums, they felt more than genuine, with real frustration hidden inside. Also, the 'stick-men' story  Special Clap for that :clap Also ... "If you want to write to BBC about this tree .....". Just couldn't stop laughing :D Priceless ending, "I am sorry hammond but there isn't much time."

Apart from that, the points about 'driverless cars' made more sense than the driverless cars themselves. Clarkson's demonstration of 'LFA Wild Animal, sad about something', hilarious.

I enjoyed the American Pickup Trucks reviews A LOT. Its not often when you see "Top Gear UK" reviewing USA Pick Up trucks, when they were bashing them all the time. But i still think these huge pick up trucks are highly impractical. Apart from the 'cheapness', Range Rover is still THE BOSS of these terrains. :gg:

7th Episode was vigorous. I say so primarily, because of Jags' reviews; absolutely adore the F-Type, and even more the "Low Drag GT" - what a wonderful name for a car. "Hats in the back" and "Mad mode" made me laugh good. "I only wanted classic fmmmmmm ...." :D

The news this time would get anyone excited. Upcoming supercars from Bently, Aston Martin etc are just gorgeous, even in pictures. I can only imagine the sheer beauty they'd represent when they'd come out real.

Also, if anyone of you have noticed, Clarkson is clearly a dominant personality in Top Gear now. He does most of the things, while others follow. And in today's news, its so obvious that it hurts. Not sure what his co-presenters think of this, but ... whatever.

Hammond's review of MX5 was appealing. Brilliant choice of music for the review. "The Gram Strategy", genius

Lastly, the Rally Cross racing was just MAD. Not as mad as real Rally, but i kinda agree with its comparison drawn to the Formula One. The latter really does feel more restricted, nimbler and mellowed down, when compared with Rally Cross like that :S

This sucks. It's the first time that top gear was going to have many episodes and then the suspension happens.

Yar, yeh kya horseshit ha....:/
This isn't the first time. Just a drama by BBC to send a message to the outside world that "we care". I am pretty sure he will be back. NO ONE can replace Clarkson, and thats a fact. People don't watch Top Gear for "car news". They watch it for those 3 blokes.

But this time it wasn't due to something caused by the outer world. The official statement is that Clarkson had a fight with a producer. This was an internal problem and could have been solved without a suspension. Or maybe the suspension could have been continued after the series ended.
