Could anyone explain to me how does nfs rivals work? i bought the cd along time ago and still havent played, it asks for the same xbox hdd drive wouldn't install onto the memory unit or flash drive i have. The hd drive in question is it the same that is available for sale on the online store of pakgamers and how do i make it work on there. And that hd drive how does it connect to the xbox? Should i buy a xbox 360 jasper one for 17k or buy a new slim or e one. I mean is jasper safe or it will stop working. I can buy a new e one for 30k but i dont want to spend much on a previous gen console. So will jasper work like a slim or e one.

I would recommend to get the XBOX 360 E 250GB Console locally which would be Jtagged already and you can play pirated games.. BTW where are you from ?? Why are you ordering it Online ?

Hello Everyone,

I've been reading this forum particularly Xbox360 related threads and have got a clear idea about JTAG/RGH and LT mods. I previously had X360 arcade which faced RROD. Now I'm willing to buy a new x360 (getting it from Dubai), mainly to play Rs 100 games as original ones are too expensive so Xbox One is not an option. The model I'm getting is XBox 360 250GB which i believe is an 'E' version (latest version, please confirm?).

My question is whether I can get it modified here in Karachi (with LT 3.0 or plus upgrade) as I'm not in favor of JTAG because I don't want to spend time downloading games, I'd rather buy a dvd and play games. And since this new version of x360 comes with built in wifi so I'm might hook it up online as well (never tried before).

So please advise if modding is possible. If no, what options I'm left with then? Also, if modding is not possible on 'E' version can one get an 'S' version new and will it work online?

^yeah S and E will both work online .. but JTAG+CD mod will cost you cheaper than LT mod .. since LT3.0 is now obsolete and new consoles require LT Ultimate Mod .. which is the most expensive mod(5000-6000) ... the only Disadvantage with Jtag is no ONLINE(XBOX LIVE) ..other than that ...CDs will work and you can play games without disc aswell


bear in mind that some consoles manufactured in late 2013-early 2014 cannot be modded as of now ... because of new hardware design .... if you want a modded console at all costs ... get one locally .... i can arrange the console and/or provide modding for your abroad imported console aswell if you are in karachi ..

Thanks Faizy. Can I call on the number provided in your signature? So as I understand LT Ultimate Mod will play 'all' game dvds and will also allow Xbox Live. And the console that you're suggesting to buy locally will also be LT ultimate Mod or JTAG? Also, how would I know that the console that I'm buying from abroad can be modded?

Moreover, I've also read here and on other sites that JTAG on new models has longer or variable boot times and also the user interface is different from the original xbox interface?

[MENTION=124833]jamescolon[/MENTION] ...well jasper USUALLY doesnt die but you never know .. if you are planning to keep the xbox for 1-2years atleast then i suggest buy new..

LTU mod will only play games that are compatible with the region of your console .. like DUbai is PAL .. usually games in PAK are for PAL .. but market discs dont work properly on LTU mod since LTU requires games burned with a special burner(LTMAX) to run properly ... JTAG is region free ...


locally both options will be available to you JTAG and LTU ... well boot times are bearable on JTAG ... 1-2 mins is usually the time which is bearable .. and interface is same..


you can know if the console youre buying from abroad is moddable because that we can only know after the console is examined after being opened...

[MENTION=2128]faizy[/MENTION] so the conclusion of our discussion is that new machines are difficult to mod and one cant have both things in a modded version (online play plus games ). If one os only concerned with games either downloadable or dvds from market then jtag is ideal subject to boot timings. And if online gaming is the purpose then ideal is no modding cuz currently no mod provides this functionality on new machines. So wt one should buy?
