Windows 10 search does not work on MS account but somehow limited functionality if i login from local account, to be honest i am finding this VERY annoying

Do you use cortana? And try disabling Internet search, this will hinder search experience with slow internet.

Please run powercfg /energy in CMD, it will generate report and mention problem if any.

I have mentioned so many times in this thread.

i ran this command and it showed 3 errors 13 warnings and 26 informational. i have the report, should i paste it here because its a big report.?

i downloaded windows 10 compatible drivers from nvidia site, but it only shows these settings


in Windows 7, settings panel was somewhat like this


i think nvidia not properly updated drivers yet

You don't have to install windows 10 drivers all you have to do is install windows 10 and than run Windows update all drivers will be installed automatically

Please try and install drivers for RealTek card reader. Try different versions until their is no error about this in report. (Restart after installing driver, then generate report)

I'm simply loving Windows 10. It's so light, fast and modern. The new music player is awesome and the return of Microsoft Solitaire Collection is the best thing that ever happened to Windows. Furthermore, I'm also enjoying the everyday basic apps such as the Calculator. Plus, the Start button is very convenient and redesigned perfectly, seems like a combination of 7 & 8.

Well, yes Groove Music player is good but its not compact or maybe i am not doing something right. The full player is too large. Is there any option to make it smaller and compact like i just want to see playback controls, album art and volume control. I am used to Winamp using it for ages i can switch to Groove Music if i get the smaller interface in it.

Hello

I have upgraded to windows 10 a while back, and face the following issues:

1, The login window. Have to enter password every bloody time when I login. Is there any way to disable it?

2, After that, when I reach the desktop, the wireless icon is displayed briefly and then it disappears. Next thing that appears is the LAN icon with red cross on it. Wireless is not enabled in the network center. Only solution is to restart the pc.

3, When I restart, the window gets stuck at the rotating circle and have to kill the power with power button.

4, This is a minor annoyance, but nevertheless, my trackpad setting for scrolling is inverted. I change it to regular pattern but after every boot, it inverts the trackpad.

Help me out with the above issues..... very tired of these f'ups.

Couple of pages back there's was this hassan guy who asked to confirm if battery drain is for others too, i really wanted to confirm but too lazy to search that post and tell him he's not alone... xD

Are you guys talking about me. As in my previous posts already said, i definitely want to say again that in windows 7 i was getting around 3 hours battery timing on casual usage that i do during evening time. But when i installed 8.1 pro i was getting upto 4 hours or you can say 3 and half but yeah i observed a little much difference in battery timing then i installed windows 10 pro and again i came to know that its similar to windows 7 or less in battery timings. I also ran the command for energy reports

I don't see anything wrong with this. Image/Video settings in systems with Both intel/Nvidia GPU are managed by Intel desktop Application.
