deadwood ofcourse.... one of the greatest series ever... justified is incredible too... i wouldn't miss either one... but chose justified as it is set in the modern times with the western touch but westerns were actually the old stuff like deadwood...

watched blue mountain state... pretty great college football comedy... the good thing is that there is pretty much a lot of sexual talk about scenes but there is no real nude shots and no F-words... that really makes it a lot better to watch and bear and less disgusting... but as a comedy it is great and really entertaining...

I absolutely love Prison Break , specially season 1 and 2 , every episode is full of twists , to be quite honest for me , PB is one of the greatest tv series . Already thinking to re-watch season 1 :)

and I watched 6 eps of Lost started quite slow , but now its picking pace .

justified and sons of anarchy are brand new, meaning they are currently running on tv while the other two are over. If you talk in terms of quality then here is how i put it

The wire
deadwood
Oz
the shield
justified
sons of anarchy

these are all crime dramas but the last 3 have much more "action" in them and the first too are really really gritty and life-like... The wire put me in a depression when i first watched it as it got too real... it is the greatest series ever made, hands down... but it does not have a great print as it is only 4:3 even though it started in 2003 and ended in 2008(series a lot before that are in 16:9)... it is a pitty but do watch it first... watch the series in the order that i put them in... trust me... if you, somehow, finish the first 3 series then you will never like anything else....

Well written, directed and acted. Its got all the ingredients of a good show BUT some material may turn some quarters off. Season 1 recommended more than 2. and from what ive read abt s3 so far its gonna be more twisted then the pervious two. Still some of the best horror on small screen in a long time.

can you give an example of the twisted turn offs in spoilers? i only watched the pilot when it came out after that my "horror" enthusiasm faded so i never caught on with the series after that but as i am running out of good shows to watch, i would like to know how twisted it is... is it good twisted or bad twisted?

here goes:

Spoiler: show

- Season 1: theres some hilarious but ultimately boner dropping yet confusing granny fetish, the main baddie is a latex s&m encased guy with which I have no problem with except that hes gay (like violent gay)

- Season 2: tried and tested mental asylum, focus on curing gay people through electro convulsive therapy (lesbians in this case), nuns being possessed and engaging in all sorta depraved activities (with lots of religious iconography involved ofcourse).



Theres so much more, which is a pain coz in reality its a fantastic show with phenomenal characters. I recommend you watch season 1, only for the excellent scenes by Kate Mara.

Season 3s got the excellent Angella Basset alongside Jessica Lange (who's a fantastic actress but one of the main turn offs for me I dunno...) as witches and Im sure THAT will lead to some twisted stories as well...

Lost is a great series. You really get attached to its large number of characters and it really does develop them very well. That is one of the strong points of LOST. That and the mystery surrounding everything.
If only it remained consistent after 3 seasons, it could have been a masterpiece.

Guys need good tv shows...hell any average shows. Just caught up with hell on wheels,copper,strike back (still as awesome as i remember) and now need to put something else on DL. Finished all 5 seasons of chuck too (again) in the last week. Really bored.

Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles is one was one of the most underrated shows on tv... but in the face of heavy weights like Lost, House, and the mother of all scifi shows Battlestar Galactica, the little one was almost lost twice before ending with the 3rd season... It warrants a watch in HD now if you can find it. Skip Leana Headlys mom-son scenes and watch John connor-Cameron parts. Plus you can see how much of a badass a douche almost-secondrate character actor like Brian Green Austin can become in just one frikkin scene!!!

The Killings sorta like Twin Peaks, if you removed all the suspense and mystery and wtf-factor. in short not worth the HD.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
