Finished Firefly, all its, sadly, only 14 episodes.
I read a lot of good things about this show and also about its UNJUST cancellation, huge cult following, fans attempt to bring it back and so on.
I finally gave it a watch and WOW, its an amazing show. From the very start, I was HOOKED like hell. Its cast is awesome, the crew of the ship "Serenity". Great acting by everyone and Loved all of them, especially the main hero, Malcom Reynolds played by Nathan fillion. He is just AWESOME. Summer Glau was also great as the troubled girl "River". Every one was great.
Loved the witty dialogue and awesome humour of the show which at time made me laugh out loud. The premise of the show is awesome and mixture of SCI FI space opera genre with cowboys/western is, in my opinion, great. If only it had a some more episodes to explore its setting and the universe and all...*sigh*.
Just can't believe a show like this got canned:crying:, its just not right. FUCK YOU FOX
Even with its short limited run, it managed to entertain on a level that many series fail to do so in their entire complete long runs of multiple seasons.
I'm just glad that they kinda gave an ending to the series with the movie "SERENITY", which was AWESOME. One of the best show I have seen so far.

^^ I actually found out abt FF when they carried out that massive advert campaign for Serenity (back in 2004)... pretty glad I did
also check out the recent "Blackcoats reunion" ep... it looks like pretty much the standard 'oh we were such a good team together' pat on the back ep, but the castmembers whoever are there share such a good sync! matches made in heaven I swear.
Theres this brilliant moment at the end of that ep, when they show footage from last years SDCC and someone asks Whedon 'what do the fans (of Firefly) mean to you',,, the subsequent scenes left even me bit teary eyed

CMON now, there is no way I could have missed Serenity, watched it right after the last episode

same here bro... once the space operas get you... you are in... i started with bsg and firefly... then farscape then stargate then babylon 5 then andromeda... now i am literally dying for an awesome space show... i have downloaded lexx but i don't know if it will hold up... star trek is too much of a hastle to watch in detail as i have watched almost all the series here and there...

MUST WATCH IT MAN!!! Even though there are only 14 episodes, its still is AMAZING!!

star trek is too episodic for my taste... but i don't really remember any storylines as i didn't watch it in order and don't remember much either as i was too damn young when i saw it on tv...
