Aha! It started with "2-3 months" back in July. Went to "By the end of the year/December." and now, It's "By February".
I've no doubt that it's gonna take like a solid 5-6 more months before they have this running all over wah.
And even then users wanting to upgrade will probably have to deal with at least a weak of hassle before they get to "enjoy" better internet.

I highly doubt it'll be FTTH. Rather FTTP is what I see happening along with DSL/VDSL afterward.

yes it will be adsl only and if you push them they maybe upgrade it to vdsl. and my exchange is not giving vdsl modem anymore they have only adsl modems in stock

So after speaking to the deployment manager,he said that he is tryig to get the connection switched ON ASAP and will be visting my home tomorrow to start deploying the fiber

I am pretty excited to get FiberLink and start on BFV on Middle East servers with less ping

They dont have much labour
Actually in my town we have 2 exchnages one is near to industrial area that is main exchnage of town so after completing that exchange they will come to my exchnage .

But they all put my dps and boundry and cage of msag and in my they did uderground piping .

wow nice if they have done ground digging and piping in your area then its great news at least they are doing something in your area
here they have done nothing no digging and no new base for msag

Got 20mb vdsl2 in saaditown block 5 karachi near malir cant

After using adsl for years i am the first in my area to get vdsl.my house from gpon msag is 140 meters away my line stats are great but problem is that i get full 10 to 10.8 mbps upload speed all the time but my downloading speed is fluctuating and quite low between 1pm to 11 pm download speed is 2.5~4.5 mbps and after midnight till 10am downloading speed is full 20mbps.i have resetted my modem and checked for any Qos limit but found nothing bad from my end.
I have complained about this issue but no one is taking action.
Does this happened with any you guys if yes then please help sorting out problem.

Bro beware msag is just copper not fiber, we have it in our city, they tricked it that it was fiber but its not.

The D-Link modem has issues with random connection drops, but a firmware update did fix it.

On a side note, PTCL needs to stop giving N300 routers for high speed connections, they should supply dual band modems for connections of 50 and 100 Mbps.
