Same issue here i am in 39.45.xxx.xxx IP pool and mainly play Rainbow 6. Few days back i was getting good pings to SEAS and EU servers but now ping is still fine to EU it is screwed up to SEAS servers. I reported them this issue about a month ago and provided my IP pool and game server IPs and they agreed to fix the issue and my pings were great until like 2-3 days ago and just recently got a reply from them that issue has been fixed but its much worse for me now. Replied back to them with my IP pool so hopefully they get their crap sorted out.

Yeah, I've noted the Twitter guy doesn't understand - the agents at 1218 understand if you tell them you have a gaming problem (because PTCL has a specific entry in their online complaints for gaming).

I also tell them that VOIP traffic like Whatsapp calls are very laggy (I complained some days back, and reminded them again yesterday).

I had emailed them - they usually reply to the email, but they haven't.

The guy on Twitter is an idiot. All he will do is register complaints so its useless to waste time with him so I just mail them the game server IPs and trace routes.

what is the policy regarding this ??

if we are paying 10mb charges we should get 10mb is the line parameters are perfect

Yesterday, my internet came to a crawl - at beat, 1.5 Mbps download speeds (vs. a package of 20Mbps). It later got fixed, but... It happens.

Their stupid policies are not understandable right now. Any way we can all collectively complain about ptcl to pta? Will they take action on the ping situation for us?

i am on VDSL2 10mbps package and line parameters are perfect but in peak hours only get half of the bandwidth and in offpeak hours around 10mbps and i have sent email to higher ups for resolution and they are saying its shared package

they have pathetic management, for IPTV they reduced channels resolution to 480*576 few months back and i complained to CEO regarding this and they changed resolution to 720*576 16:9 but now they again reverted back to 480*576 and i again filed complaint.

PTCL is really Pain

how to fix that . we face problem on 20mbps package its working fine but in these hour 6pm to 11pm . we get speed 1mbps to 3mbps not increase.

Worst thing is that these s**t pieces have their service available in almost every area of Pakistan with their 20 year old copper wiring which they are not willing to change. So you are either stuck with their pathetic service or no fixed broadband at all.

yes main problem is their infrastructure is way too old and they are very lazy upgrading it.

they have MSAG in my exchange since Aug Sep and it is still waiting for installation
