There is no peak times here in ISB, I get full speed 24/7. Only pings get slightly high which is normal (+5-15). 1.1MB/s on Torrents, 1.2MB/s Direct/IDM on 10Mbps ADSL.

I don't get any speed issues with ptcl(other then adsl upload speed ofc) the only issue I have is that if I get good ping on European servers then I don't get good ping on Asian servers and vice versa so if I get a static IP and ask them to fix routing will I get good ping on both servers?

Exactly ADSL is Shit but VDSL is much more stable.

Currently have 10mb VDSL and i don't face this issue. I used to face slow speeds and 100+ ms pings to local servers on 20mb ADSL during peak hours but later on they fixed it after so many complaints.

Better to downgrade to 1mb dsl.

i complained and they did something from exchange, now it is good,

i can't understand how their system works

lol, its just got better, i think they just did the port refresh from the exchange,

i am sure after couple of days it would be the same,

and everyone getting low speed should complain maybe they can get their problem resolved like mine

Im facing a very weird issue, So a few hours back my modem just randomely restarted and after that internet light went red indicating that there was an authenticatio issue, i tried logging in to the modem settings but couldnt login because modem had itself defaulted the settings so it changed user and pass to default. I found that out and got to know that my authentication user and pass was gone too bcz of that. I called ptcl and got the username and pass but as i have vdsl2, the modem is refusing to connect to vdsl2, it easily connects to adsl2+ but when i select vdsl2 in the dsl tab it cannot authenticate me. The ptcl helpline told me that its a backend issue and it will be resolved after a while. But i went to my neighbour as he has the same vdsl2 and his connection is working fine. now im in a weird situation right now as i dont know where the issue is. Can somebody help
