Can someone help me out? My ping on the speed test is 40-50ms. However since 2 weeks, it escalates to 150+ from 8pm till 3am EVERY SINGLE DAY.
I've complained abt it numerous times and the support guys are clueless as always. The local linesmen is not even showing up either. He did come once a few months ago when i had a issue with my line and he improved my ping too. But im not getting a hold of him anymore. Can somebody please help me with this?

It's call load management or throttling speeds. This is done during peak usage times to reduce the server loads.

Keep complaining. This will force them to increase their number of servers.

It never happened before. Dont know what changed that. I hope its not for permanent basis. And wese b ping k lye thori hi complains jati hongi.

mine is working without any issue only browsing is bit slow
Mine disconnected every hour or so, happened 12 times in a span of 8 hours.
Eventually just turned the ONT off.

Exact same issue for me tho, thankfully wasn't every 10 mins, but every hour isn't exactly better cause you can't play anything without disconnecting in between.
NO did not faced any disconnect issue but some web pages were loading slow

called them yesterday and it got fixed, worked fine all day now its messing up again
i got ptcl smart on the connection that doesnt die or disconnect ;-; its just the internet that fucks up =w=

Your line stats are perfect.
ADSL stats play no role in determining whether or not you can get VDSL cause it's a different line.

Request for a VDSL connection, you'll easily be able to get 20 Mbps.

So, I called ptcl up for a connection to get one of their nice new broadband packages on 22 June, got my order placed immediately. On the second day i got the message telling me to "pay 3,999 PKR Installation fee so we can intiate your installation on the following MDN Number", I was like okay great, paid the installation fee and got a call telling me that they will install the connection in 5 working days it was going so good till 5 days went away with no calls from them. For the record the same happened like a year or two ago without money being involved, me being frustrated and all complained to PTA (CC'ed PTCL) about this after like a full week, got their reply after 3 days telling me to email them my address, after like 3-4 days i got email from ptcl telling me that they will solve my problem and all that, on the second day after the email i got a call from a seemingly illiterate woman from ptcl asking me if my line was bad i told her that why would my line go bad if i don't even have the connection lol, on which she checked and said why is your complain even here then in a bad tone, she then asked for my address which she seemingly had a hard time understanding idk why. After like 4 hours from that call i got another call from a guy asking me about my address he then said "aapka connection is branch se nahi hoga" i told them that it was their problem to which he replied, "ham dekhte hain.." then he put off the call and it's till this day no one came or called me about the connection I tried calling ptcl which they either transfer the call or don't bother picking up nor do i get any email or call from them or PTA. I don't know what should be my
next step, i was a bit busy these couple of days so couldn't visit their office to give them an earful, which is the only thing left to do I guess.

TL;DR: Placed order on 22 June, paid 4k on the MDN, no call from them, complained pta which also didn't help till today (25th July), don't know what to do except for visiting their office which I am thinking to take time out for.

visit your exchange and insist i want to meet with exchange manager and tell him your issue

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
