The pings you get on GPON are they better/same as optix or Transworld?

Weird that they downgraded your upload speed :/

I have 100 down and 50 up. No, they had free installation back then, almost 2 years ago. Only paid 3k new connection charges.

I'm sure TW connections would have better routing than PTCL, so no, even with GPON my pings are not as good as TW.

They never downgraded the upload speed. I upgraded to 100 Mbps a few months back, and then they were only offering 50 Mbps upload. Then for GPON only, they changed upload speed to 75 Mbps, however they haven't updated it automatically for me, and asking them to do it just gives me the generic 24-48 hrs response and then nothing actually happens.

As far as I know, it doesn't. TW relies solely on it's own submarine cable(s).

GPON has more upload speed than VDSL. That's the reason.

No way. 50-80 ms is huge.

Maximum 15-20 ms difference between VDSL and FTTH.

They fluctuate. I usually get around 230-240, it spikes to 300+ sometimes and then stabilize again at 230 ish again.

SO guys did anyone ever used paid vpn for pings? have you ever tried you change you location to the nearby country ? if you did what pings you get?
For Exp: you changed you ip to india suppose what ping you get on honkong , japan and at other location??????

I have used Kill Ping and WTfast. WTfast is better imo because its more stable and i hardly face any lag spikes with WTfast. For Asian servers i use the Singapore VPN server and get 110-130ms ping and for EU i get around 140-160ms ping. I play Rainbow 6 but i assume that these VPNs works for various other games. I only use VPN for EU as im currently getting good ping to Asian servers on PTCL.
