I have confirmed from cantt exchange saddar, ptcl starts transformation process in jan 18 because cantt exchange in phase 3 while other ones like chaklala and i-9 in phase 2 and there work already started and it will be completed in a couple of months so i think we will get transformed packages from april/may onwards. I recently installed vdsl connection in tench bhata area, check my line statsI think Cantt Exchange is near now

Ptcl lately have been totally utter shit for me and my area and i don't know if its nationwide since a month and half, it took me 4 to 5 refreshes and 3 minutes to load this forum page, torrents are totally fine but streaming and browsing is like a sloth ? is it me or everyone ?

Im using ptcl 8mb connection and i live in pwd housing society islamabad, my exchange is in korang town, im facing extremely slow browsing/downloading daily from 1pm to 1-2am i get almost 1mb i.e 80kbps - 100kbps download speed but from 2am to 1pm i get proper full 8mb, complaining ptcl from like 2 months but still facing same crap, u guys have any clue what can be the issue?

Bro my cousin has been complaining the same thing he is 4 mb user, he says he gets 1 mb speed after 10 am in the morning, i haven't checked myself Ptcl is totally messed up these days, i sometimes can hardly even open a single webpage .. and yes this issue has started since 2 months.
damn bro ! i thought im the only one, i asked the lineman of my area he said "sir sab k sath ye masla hai aap nayatel per shift ker jayen" this is not a solution, ptcl's fiber will take an year just in isb, rwp tau bohot duur ki baat hai, their copper wires are hanging like crazy in all streets, dont know what will they do with their fiber
By reading the above posts, I am Thank to GOD that my PTCL works great. I use 8Mbps VDSL and I also stream PS4 gameplays to youtube and it works great. I am just waiting for transformed packages so I can shift to 20Mbps connection ... I will get smart tv installed tomorrow.
I am really happy with PTCL in terms of speed and stability
