That's really sad man. I had told you they are the biggest scammers out there but you didn't listen. One of my friend also fell into their prey, 8 months and so on and there is no response from them. Just ask for a refund now.

You get what you pay for, I guess.

Although sometimes, you also don't get what you paid for...

I'm seeing zero progress, zero work being done here. No idea what their plans are.
They are currently doing ground works in the lalazar and shahwali colony.
Last week they were finalizing the boxes and lines in my area(basti). Asked the guy who was working on it(some outsourced person working on lines) and he said that their work here is now finished and is ready, its up to ptcl now as to when they will want to start giving the connections

They are also doing somekind of work everyday on the central box that is opposite to the High School. So Maybe their own system is not setuped yet.
Last Thursday I saw some ptcl guy their with some banners as well, while they were working on it.(maybe somekind of marketting stuff for Fibre etc). Anyways they didnt put up banners as well, I will ask them on Monday if they are there when i go to office.

It's not that simple, when they were installing FTTH (first time) for me, it took 2 weeks extra after they laid all the cables and shit because they had to:

Spoiler: show

1) Set up and configure brand new MSAG since the infrastructure in my area was ancient. This involves assignment of a site IP and ID from the NOC in H-9 and then 'energizing' the network itself since the fiber is 'dark' right now.

2) Order fresh stock of ONTs from their warehouse in F-5. It takes like a day or two for the regional manager to sign off on an order of ONTs, and then they'll be driven over to the relevant exchange.

3) Then get a splicing and CPE installation team ready to start deploying connections at customers houses. The ONT is then installed and connected at your home, but authentication will take time, read point below.

4) Depending on how early / late you apply for a connection, a new Account ID and phone number are assigned. Then the guy who installed your connection will coordinate with NOC, who will bind the new line profile he just created to the MAC address of the ONT installed at your place.

5) The whole point of GPON rollout is to avoid manual configuration of CPEs, so the new config file will be pushed remotely from the OLT to the ONT installed at your house, after which it will automatically reboot, authenticate and be assigned an IP.

Step 1 is the most time consuming step, and that's likely not complete yet so they're not giving out any connections yet. Once it's done, or at least near completion, only then will they be given the 'go ahead' to start taking orders for new connections.

Ok. Another couple of months it is then :tv:

I was told I don't have to apply. They'll come and ask.

Internet down again. It's not actually down but might as well be. Wildly fluctuation SNR (80 - 1000), crappy pings everywhere and bad browsing experience. Also lots of noise in phone line.

InshaAllah all will be good after few weeks.
My situation is very weird. Its either perfect, or unusable. And it can go from perfect to unusable in the middle of the night, and then go back to normal 5 minutes later.

Anyway I went to the Aslam Market office today. Saw a guy I know there. He said there is still at least a month to go (fiber). So fml.
