Unfortunately that Oman traffic is not going to effect pings to ME. The only thing you can do is pester PIE for better routes (which they do have actually). Ask them why the traffic is going all the way to Singapore, then to US, then to EU, then finally to UAE - according to traceroutes. Ask them to get you in touch with NOC/Multimedia & Broadband team.

Why don't you use Jazz 4G? That 2000 thingy? It will cost you less than PTCL with better speed.

I really didnt understand why PTCL is doing this and not optimizing the routes for gaming. They are least bothered

Lol. PTCL sucks more than Jazz. Infact Jazz also uses PTCL backhaul. And its just a one time try. And bill could not cross security limit.

Go to Lahore, Karachi or Faisalabad if you are leaving house and get all three Nayatel, Stormfiber and fiberlink. You could also get transformed PTCL [emoji12] [emoji12]

If they were available in my area , why would I beg Nayatel. Secondly , thy are not even in RawalpindiNot available . I am on 8Mbps VDSLNo man. I think that would take longer than we think

By the way, nayatel has denied my request as there are not enough ppl opting for the connection in my area so they cannot expand the coverage to my house even though its not so far.

So I am stuck with PTCL now.

Hello guys, I need quick help, I got my device switched and now I forgot which DSL mode I had before. It gave me improved speed and all. This is the current settings, I think I maybe had ADSL (?) enabled.

I have an 8Mbps connection if you're wondering. I'm currently getting low upstream (around ~500Kbps) and downstream is stuck on ~6000Kbps. Line is clear, lineman have checked it already and there's no noise on phone either. SNR margin on 83 down 70 up.

Enable everything apart from Annex M in the top section. The other two sections are fine.
