EDGE will not work on f180, does not matter which rom you install. However, 3g works fine on all roms, no issue. If CM11 is for LG e975, then it is better to flash e975KDZ first and then install CM11. After flashing e975kdz or cm11, you need to flash baseband of your f180 - L, S or K whatever you have. Without flashing baseband, you might not get network.

Okay... That clarifies something.... No EDGE on f180 whatever you do... This is a serious shortcoming, at least for me till the time whole of Pakistan gets 3g coverage

Download file from above link and copy in your phone via PC. Then boot into recovery and choose install zip from sd card. Then select that baseband zip you copied, confirm OK to install with power button... use volume key for up and down movement. It will be installed in few seconds... then restart your set. Then your phone will reboot, but KNOX will be an ass. Go to Play Store, update SuperSU to the latest version, download Titanium Backup, remove KNOX apps.
I don't remember the exact apps you need to remove but I made a tutorial on how to do it a while back, link of that is in the OP as well.

Tried your method, still no success, I can see superuser icon but Knox blocks it immediately and it FCs, I get security breach notification
It's actually not allowing to open superSU, the moment I open, it FCs immediately, there were methods to install via recover but it's not even allowing to flash any custom recovery, it shows success dialogue and download mode shows Peres but on reboot it won't enter recovery
So you flashed the CF-Root through Odin, right?
Get the .apk of the latest version of SuperSU from the internet and install it on your phone. Clear Data and Cache of SuperSU from settings, reboot and try again.
KNOX normally shouldn't interfere this much.
What happened on my first try was that I flashed CF-Root via Odin, the phone rebooted with SuperSU and I opened it and it FC'ed.
A popup window came up saying 'SuperSU has detected KNOX, disable?'
I pressed Cancel.
I went to Play Store, updated SuperSU, restarted the phone.
I still ignored the popup window, I downloaded Titanium Backup and removed all the KNOX related apps.
Restarted again and SuperSU was working fine.

I am using TDK's handfree, got it for Rs. 350 and its sound is great. Simple 80 Rs wali handsfree will also work if you pull out the pin and separate mic and air buds portion. Mic creates problem and causes incompatibility.
