My area updated [emoji7][emoji7]

But am getting shameful speeds for 15mhz like 9mbps average [emoji52] Also using the jazz hourly extreme package(This package definitely seems capped around 8mbps so ill try another package)

Are you on prepaid?

Also, can you share the FULL screenshot too? This shows nothing about the reception you're getting.

Yeah am on prepaid. I am damn sure Jazz caps their packages because as soon as my hourly extreme package expired my speedtest jumped upto 50mbps for a second but then my balance ended.

Going to try with another package now.

So - it looks like the signals are fine. It's probably your package/capped speeds then.

Yeah so Jazz hourly extreme package is capped at 8mbps and i talked to jazz guys but they dont want to admit they say nothing is capped.

Jazz nightly 3 days extreme is not capped though. Sadly only works 2am - 2pm

Finally Jazz beats Zong in my area in terms of speed.

Okay. Can others chime in with their experience, please? Ever since the network upgrade took place, the signal levels have changed for both 3G and 4G. In my house, I'd get weak 3G before and moderate 4G, but now, I get no 4G and moderate 3G (and 2G seems stronger though). In another place, the 3G has become weaker (I think) and hardly any 4G there too.

I know [MENTION=42544]murtaza12[/MENTION] has experienced something similar in his house, but what about the other areas?

Its a glitch in Samsung phones. I was facing same glitch in samsung phone even before upgrading 4G. Jazz is using its 6 MHz of 900 MHz for 2G. And on Warid's 900 MHz, 3G is not possible due to technical issues.

Kya pata unhon ne koi magic kiya hai? Maybe they're using 1800 MHz for 2G?
Maybe 2G is turned off? Maybe they're finally ready to launch VoLTE?

Who am I kidding? Lol

But seriously, what technical issues are stopping them from using 900 MHz for 3G?

3G requires minimum 5 MHz block for deployment and Warid had 4.8 MHz in 900 MHz. And Jazz can not risk its whole 2G to shift less than 5 MHz of 900 MHz by drploying 3G on its 6 MHz block.

Risk ki baat chor do.
This can't always be a glitch. Maybe they're doing something?

1% bhi boht hai.

I ordered my phone when molvis were doing dharna in ISB and although all roads were blocked, there was 1% chance of it being delivered and it did get delivered. 4 hours later than expected, but it got delivered nonetheless.

If they really are testing 3G on 900 MHz, this means they are going to retain warid spectrum. And if they are retaining warid spectrum why didn't they launched 4G on 20 MHz instead of 15? Why aren't they using 1800 MHz for 2G at all?
