Ping is awesome... I am noticing a change in Jazz 4G too .. Where I would get 8Mbps at home ..now I am getting 16 to 18Mbps...and signals were always full ..

So after waiting 1 month so I could get access to a Blackberry with less than BB OS 10, and disabling and reactivating B*S, I've come to the conclusion that my speed is probably capped regardless of package I'm using.

When I first converted from Prepaid to Postpaid, I felt my speeds were capped as well, but probably after the first billing cycle, the speeds went insanely fast. 20+ Mbps on both 3G and 4G.

So it's quite strange that your speeds are still capped.
What package are you on? J300?

AFAIK whoever's on the new J-xxx packages aren't affected by this speed limit issue.

I presume you have 3 or more than 3 packages on your number :
1. B*S ( You know what this is )
2. M-100
3. 3G for Blackberry ( or something similar in name )

Somehow, my 3rd package was disabled. From my observations, This package is pretty much what gives you 'VIP status' ( unlimited speed) against 'Normal' prepaid numbers. Once this was disabled, I've been getting maximum speed supported by 3G ( not HSPA+ ) which is 2mbps ...

Yours ain't disabled, I assume?

My 3G - Data Pay as you go was disabled.
The package name itself speaks its importance .
And I can't really enable it again, since I don't know if there is any short code for this, plus helpline isn't helpful in this regard.
I'm going to have to get another postpaid number
Mobilink Billing is PTCL on Steroids TBH.
