I believe it's 2, 8, 15, 22 and 29th. That's if I remember correctly.

And you can only have 2nd as your billing date if you've set up auto debit. I told them "no", because I don't trust your billing status screen, and the person obviously had no answer to this.

How accurate are their billing systems now? I have a little over a month to decide if I should come back to Mobilink, or find another alternative to Telenor (who seem to be expanding their 4G network at glacial speeds... they are, but only slower than a snail).

The rumours from zafarabbasrizvi indicated that the billing from Warid would be ported over, but so far I haven't seen a difference. It's still the same inaccurate crap.

I dialed *1111# again and now this comes up, how did my current month amount change?

mobilink 3g is acting all weird for me, have to keep recycling mobile data to use it -.-

Jazz is deffinitly doing something to its 3G/4G from yesterday. I am facing downtimes of their 3G/4G in Faisalabad as well. My Uncle from Jaranwala confirming same. His 3G/4G signals are continuously dissappearing by leaving only 2G for use.

I was just told by a Jazz representative at their Faisalabad office. Its not confirm that they will port Warid's billing system. And honestly what I feel is Jazz bringing Nothing from Warid except Users and spectrum.

That seems very odd considering both were working perfectly fine for me today.

I was in school and using 4G throughout the day was working flawlessly and even 3G worked fine in the basement.

Could it be some spectrum refarming?

My Uncle's student is at Jazz franchise Jaranwala and he told him that they have got email few days ago that they are merging towers of Jazz and Warid at their location so 3G/4G services will remain interrupted.

They are possibly merging spectrum first at locations first where both Jazz 3G and Warid 4G are available. And they have started it from smaller locations I feel.

To Be Honest , Billing issue is not so big my friend.. Just check the bill when it comes in your inbox and pay.. dont depend on their *1111# , I dont bother checking that as well.. I just wait for the bill to come in my inbox and I go through it and simply pay.. they never overcharged me at all.. So I would suggest you to come back to Mobilink and Enjoy LTE/3G wide coverage :D

So you mean Warid / Jazz signals with come from one tower then?

And then hopefully 410-07 as a whole will be finished off and everyone will connect to 410-01.

I second you. I too never bothered their over charged current bill. My current bill at the moment is 1890 and I have 2500 billing limit. I know when my bill will generate it will be 1549. They never overcharged me in invoice as well. I pay when I receive invoice. I don't know why it is not so simple for you and which thing irritates you most. A psychological issue?

Possibly Yes. Or maintaining both cell sites with merged spectrum? Less chances but who knows

Having issues with 3G on Warid SIM for the past 2-3 days. 3G simply doesn't work and whenever I force-enable it under Network settings, I get full bars but 'Emergency Calls Only'. Also, it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting all the time. 2G and 4G work fine.

I have a hunch that Jazz are tinkering with some stuff. Any other user from Rwp/Isl experiencing this issue?

it is not so big when you have unlimited data, i will love to see your responce if you were using Limited data package XDDD

same goes for zafarabbasrizvi

edit: my number still showing 24 mbs left since 10 days, even if i use the net it doesn't go down 24, so I already know that i have used well over my data allowance and will be charged at higher rates,

and as shaheerk says these are the things that should have been done right by them in the first place

I am not using Unlimited Data since the begining.. I used their 5GB package and never exceeded... and same goes for Shaheerk as well as he uses limited data.

Don't bother franchises don't have lte sims for postpaid go to their office.

Went to their franchise. You were right they don't have lte sims for postpaid. They asked me to go to their sales and service center.
I simply sent "laanat" on company, and on their lte. Bcoz lte is not officially available for B**.
3G is good to go until they allow 4g on b**.

Don't worry their 3G/4G is fluctuating in Faisalabad district as well. Most probably they are doing something.

Any one noticed there is no more WaridTel server at speedtest.net?

Probably because Warid IP addresses are no longer being used.

Warid 4G is assigned a Mobilink IP (119.x) instead of Warids own (203.x).

I was in Saddar, Rawalpindi today and remember how I said on Mall Road (from AFIC till Kacheri) Zong's 4G speeds were poor?

And also that speeds in Bahria Town (near the roundabout and in Phase 1 and 2 and thereabouts) the speeds were equally poor?

Turns out they have SNR issues there as well.

Spoiler: show

And it's odd because they have a lot of towers in the vicinity, but the SNR is really poor. I was parked right outside D. Watson (and the strength/SNR did not improve even when I was parked outside Fresco Sweets, near Bank Alfalah).

So here's my next mission: to find out what is it that affects the SNR of these operators, considering they had similar signal STRENGTHS (but the SNR varied - Mobilink/Warid had a MUCH better SNR, and so did Telenor) in the same spot. We all know this is Telenor's Achilles' heel, and Zong suffers from this weakness in a few spots as well (cause it doesn't look like those areas are congested - I think - but that the SNR is really poor to varying degrees), but why is it that Mobilink doesn't suffer similar issues in the same spots? Telenor is greatly affected (unless you're next to the tower).

Also, looks like SNR impacts data more than voice, but then, why is it that in weak signals, Zong's 3G is worse than their 2G (and that other operators don't suffer from this distortion)?

They used to have one a few years ago, but it stopped being hosted in 2012 if I remember correctly.

Would be nice if they hosted it again though. :)

I use the Nayatel server - it's connected to both PIE and TW1, so pings will always be on the lower side for all ISPs. Most others have their routing set to either TW1 or PIE, and (I don't know now, but before the internet exchange was alive and kicking) the route it would take would be very long and go through international servers.

PTCL is usually accurate enough for me when I use Mobilink 4G, however YMMV. Sometimes if it's too low though, then I switch to Nayatel and the speeds go up by a few Mbps. Looks nicer in the screenshots 😂

I used to use the Warid one too, but that's gone now.
