Dracula Untold

So universal has started to reboot their old monsters franchise with new flavors , the movie is okay not bad neither some thing special , the ending opens for sequel , but i kinda have little hate for this movie like i had for 300 rise of empire that is altering the history completly , Mehmed II the conqueror was a huge leader and the way they have shown
Spoiler: show
his death by the hands of vlad he didnt died by the hands of vlad in real he died his own death after many years of vlad death
makes it look like crap , should have shown some diff villain a turk but not him Mehmed II

overall movie is avg

6/10

cobby if it was average man you should had given it 5/10 coz that's an average rating 7/10 is in no way average its quite good pretty good to be exact :)

so saw "JOHN WICK" at cinestar tonight

People keep on asking if i'm back, i'm thinking about it, yes.... I'M BACK !

man oh man, this movie was what i had expected it to be, keanu reeves back after sometime and damn man he blew it off :D the silent type with a gentle heart but merciless at what he does and what he does is BEST :D ohh yes

the movie's a bit slow with storyand such at the beginning but when the action starts man it is awesome, keanu reeves pulling of those raid type stunts and all on his own was AMAZING, i saw him man of tai chi do some stuff he looked great and pulling of more of it here GREAT.

Movie's FULL OF ACTION and does great at it, the story was a bit ok'ish but a good start to this movie. that poor dog man i had tears in my eyes, the movie really makes u like him and damn it just when u are attached sh*t.

some good names in this one, if u get a chance do get to see it in the cinema before it gets taken off, REAL GOOD (y)

Went in expecting good ol' Nolan mindfuckery- didn't leave disappointed. Didn't leave disappointed as in there was enough mindfuckery to last me a good few weeks. The first half was solid. Slow but definitely the better half of the movie. But then commenced the second half and hence the initiation of mindfuckification.

Seriously I was totally lost and that's BEFORE the big reveal at the end at which point I just stopped trying to understand what the hell was going on. Call me slow, call me dumb but that's how it went for me.

Also the "jaw-dropping visuals", they were also only present in the first half and weren't that jaw-dropping tbh. I found Gravity's to be more breathtaking.

Second problem, is the length of the movie. Could've easily be done in 2 hours but nooope.

Alright third, the background score. Never thought Hans Zimmer could disappoint me but disappointment is one thing, his composition for this movie was downright annoying. So loud and so overplayed I wanted to cover my ears from the excessive use of organs. Also just me or at some points the volume was so loud that it was smothering the audibility of dialogues. I just couldn't hear what they were saying over those blasting organs.

Genius movie? Hell no! Just because it made you use your brain more than movies should doesn't make it "genius". It makes me cringe when I hear people calling Nolan a genius just because he can make movies that you wouldn't understand in the first go. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy but if coming up with overcomplicated concepts makes you a genius I can come up with shit that would make your mind go numb.

That's my two cents! I give it a 5/10

Spoiler: show
I am so screwed lol but I am prepared.

Seriously I was totally lost
Actually, I'm sure you won't be the only one. Numerous people I talked to after the movie didn't understand the plot entirely, and that's why I think Nolan was overreaching his audiences' ability to comprehend. It's not a movie for everyone so it should be interesting to see how people pool in their opinions. But up until the big reveal, I don't even know what there is to be confused about :s

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes............(5/10) watched in HD, boy what a disappointment, nowhere close to the first part, so damn boring, nothing happens until the last minutes!!

Oculus.................(5/10) watched in HD, another boring movie, didnt expected much though, not a single scene was there that I could call scary, story was bad as well.

Saw Premiere OF "Interstellar" AT Cinestar IN IMAX !

Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here.

Man what have i just experienced :D just EPIC ! this years BEST SCIFI hands down.... it was PRETTY long but justified IMO

nolan has just given one of his best works yet again, a TRUE HUMAN ODYSSEY... i won't detail much as i don't want to spoil it for others but there are quite some surprises in there that you will encounter over the 2 hours and 49 minutes of epicness !

word of advice do take in some drinks etc u might need it haha

well the movie was MUCH better than gravity to me since that was a borefest really, this had story, mystery, space travel and humour :) too haha man the movie's still running in my head as i write this. EPICCCC

matthew mcconaughey was brilliant and so was anne hatheaway,
Spoiler: show
i'd like to give praise to the robots tars and case aswell :D hehe

the first half of the movie is story and where its heading etc kinda slowly and building up, suddenly its space time and we're on to the journey which had fantastic visuals and never have i seen such amazing stuff in a movie before. such comprehension of space and time that you would need to concentrate to get it all in at once. now the concept for some would be old or done before perhaps BUT it's how you deliver it in this is what made it SUCH BRILLIANT for me. well orchestrated and nicely done. That's NOLAN FOR ya

Plus the BG music was PRETTY good man which made me go to the edge of the seat everytime.

anyways im afraid if i talk more im gonna ruin it for ya peeps so This one u gotta see it to KNOW IT

Nolantastic MOVIE :D

ps: got that kewl poster after the IMAX movie ended (y)

^MAN I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH IT.

By the way, was there are any issue with the dialogue not being heard or something?
there was just one sequence where it happened BUT i think it was intentional or something because that scene gets repeat again and in clear voice :) Saw it in IMAX so can't go wrong there.

junaidgangs89 lol i missed it too :p i saw someone holding this up in the plastic sheet and i was LIKE who brings a college report etc to cinemas and than i saw someone else holding it up aswell and i sensed this can't be a college report etc i suddenly looked around and some of the ppl had this in their hands. so i quickly rushed back and got one for myself, turned out i exited from the upper floor of the cinema where they didn't had over the posters to anyone whilethe ones who exited from the right side of the cinema on the ground floor got it :D

manigamer, the movie seemed like a combination of Sunshine, Inception, and Gravity. Come on, it's justified a rewatch, hasn't it? I'm curious, how did people there react to the film. There were people being all emotional on this side.

Good to know as I heard that many cinemas including IMAX were getting sound mixing problems. People were saying it is the movie's mix but I guess it was the equipment's fault.

I saw it today and most of us agreed that there were some sequences where it was difficult to hear the dialogue. It's hard to say whether it was down to the equipment or the sound mixing, mainly due to the very nature of those particular sequences. Though I would've liked the dialogue to be a bit more clear.
