Thinking of getting an LG G2 D802 (intl Variant) to use with Zong LTE. Do I have to enable LTE somewhere in the settings and are there any other APN settings etc involved?
You should ask a friend who is working @ Zong currently. Zong Employees are allowed to give 10 packages to their Friends and family.
You using employee package?For online gaming zong is the best,

No friend is working @zong. :frown:
Set network mode to LTE from settings.
The ordinary GPRS/EDGE APN works for 3G and 4G. Nothing extra required.

I do plan to root and install an AOSP based ROM BUT why do I NEED to root for LTE? It supports LTE already - even the band that zong uses.You require to root G2 D802 to get LTE option

There are a lot of refurbished G2s in market which don't have LTE working. I planned on checking LTE before buying the phone but I obviously can't root the phone before buying it.

anyways.. I will not argue on it.. and yes G2's in market are refurbished and all are crap.. I will be selling mine soon but not less than 25k as I have matched IMEI box and original charger and handsfree with LG logo on it
